I can see it. At first people would flame on Platinum even harder. Then - maybe slowly, maybe incredibly fast - the blame would be shifted towards Nintendo for making the haters flame Platinum in the first place by funding the game. The servers of N4G and NeoGAF can no longer withstand the traffic. Their hate proved to be their own demise. Without the big platforms the flamewar efforts start to crumble. In a last desperate attempt the haters decide to storm Nintendo HQ. Upon entering the building they are knocked out. When they awake they are in a big presentation room. The doors are locked. Suddenly  the lights go dark, with the exception of the stage lights. Entering Iwata. He doesn't seem to even notice the haters. Suddenly trailers start running. F-Zero U, Metroid Prime 4, Super Smash Bros. Me2ee, PokeMMOn, Majora's Mask 3D. Torn between their hate for Iwata and Nintendo and the irresistible urge to buy a WiiU for these games the haters go mad. Start sobbing uncontrollably and scratching the skin off their faces. After the last trailer finishes the lights go on again. On the floor lie the dead remains of what were once Nintendo's biggest haters. Their last efforts to take Nintendo down have failed, without their manipulating influence the general gaming public finally returns to their senses. After the big crash of 1983 peace is restored once again.
