Sorry for the late reply! But from my circle of friend, everyone hated the style and many "hardcore Zelda fans" from forums and such hated to death the "realistic" style of the game . Personally I love it and is my favourite Zelda as of now (I still have some to go!)

Well, have you tried the 3DS version? It is a lot brighter and more colourful. Highly recommended.

OT: Can't complain since it's fan made. I don't see why they would want to do this though since it doesn't go well with the theme at all.

It looks decent. Though the originals of both Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword look better.

As a side-note, I wouldn't mind if the WiiU game would use an updated, enhanced version of the Skyward Sword style, I bet that would look absolutely amazing with the power of the WiiU.
