Equally so.

There's plenty of "core" content on either, DS edging the PSP out.
But there's plenty of other things you can do on the PSP with homebrew, traditionally something associated with hardcore gamers.

@OT - PSP I would say but the NDS has a share of some games that would be great for hardcore gamers but it mostly appealed to casual gamers with games such as Nintendogs, Cooking Mama, Brain Age - like the Wii it brought out a lot of people who normally do not buy game systems.

Casual games can still be played in a hardcare manner.

Gamers need to understand that the style of game dosn't determine if a player is hardcore or not. It is the approach the gamer takes to games that make them hardcore.

That said, neither has more than the other...or at least in a means that could be quantified.
