Considering that you can play FF 1-9 on Vita, and 10, 10-2 are being remade for Vita as well... How is the 3DS exactly platform for those that grew up with FF?

He's right...if you want to endlessly replay old games or be the permanent sloppy second on indie games the vita is just perfect. That's why I haven't touched mine in a while. I'm not disputing that the Vita is a great device, it really is but I honestly can not remember when the last meaningful game released over here in europe. Must have been Soul Sacrifice. I own this game and have played it to death (and it's good) but there's nothing since.

And before people come up with THE LIST...yes, you can get a steady stream of games out of the Vita...if you seriously really like (love) everything, and i mean absoluely EVERYTHING that's releasing on it. There are surpringly many people of this kind around here.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Considering that I was 10 when PlayStation was released, what do you think I played or on what I "grew up" on until then? After NES, SNES, N64, GameBoy, GameBoy colour I think I played enough of Mario's, Donkey Kong's, Pokemon's etc for my lifetime.

PSVITA for life... you have Uncharted, Persona, Assassin's Creed, Gravity and plenty of JRpg's coming, plus cheap Indie games.
3DS is a great option if you like 1st party Ninty games and SMT IV !!!

Get a Vita. The library of games it's capable of playing is second to none. You're going to be able to have every Final Fantasy 1-10 on there. You can have Metal Gear Solid 1-3 + Peace Walker. Resident Evil 1-3. Atlus is having a PSP sale right now; Persona 1-3 are 10 bucks right as we speak. Gravity Rush, Golden Abyss, fighters galore. My memory stick is full and I have a 32 gig stick.
