For what? Angry birds? It's an android "tablet" that features remote play....

I find the Vita to be incredibly nice as a device next to your bed. You can get in bed and you still have acess to everything you would on your living room. You can watch a movie, a series, play a game, surf the web with the really good browser or engage in apps like skype.
Its like having your pc and TV right there in your bed.

Of course, i also use it when i know im gonna have to wait somewhere. But i use my Vita daily before going to sleep.

From what I've seen (not sure if it's changed), but I heard the Vita browser is barely any better than the 3DS one.

Nope. Not even close. The 3DS one is close to useless. The Vita one is completely usable. I usually visit this website on it. I just cant see the VGchartz buddy.

You can also watch youtube videos on the browser, something that is impossible on the 3DS. You cant see every video out there, but regular pages and youtube work. The touch controls make it easy to navigate aswell.

Depends on the games you want.

Shooters and other more western indie stuff? Vita.

Nintendo 1st party software and a lot of Japanese 3rd part support? 3DS.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

That's an exaggeration about the 3DS one.  The 3DS one simply doesn't have HTML or Flash.  I'm sure the Vita has at least one of the two (probably HTML?).

When I was saying "barely any better" I meant in terms of its speed.  It could have been updated since I saw a comparison video around a few months after the launch of the Vita in North America.

Well, i found the 3DS one difficult to use. The Vita one is speedy if you have a good wireless signal. The browser has been improved in system updates in the past.

I would say the 3DS works fine with websites that have mobile versions.  It worked with facebook and wellsfargo fine.  It's capable of playing .gifs but it may crash, so it isn't the best browser but it's still usable for certain tasks.

If you grew up with games like Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Fire Emblem, Kirby, Yoshi, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Animal Crossing, Sonic, and now even Smash Bros., go with 3DS.

If you like umm.... Uncharted, Persona, and Y's go with PSV.
