sure, that is true, but it took some pretty incredible circumstances for that to even happen.  I'm sure EA actually had to pay microsoft some money for that to happen, even then it was 5 years after the fact.  Most of the exclusive games microsoft has announced so far for the x1 may be made by third party developers, but microsoft has retained the IP ownership which means there is 0 chance of it ever getting ported to a competing system.
