By my calculation, Vita undertracked by ~ 2500 for June (give or take a bit because the dates don't quite line up); Wii-U overtracked by ~ 1500. Not really fussed about calculating it for the other consoles. Yet they're both overtracked overall, so we must have some months way off.

It's interesting, though, how poorly Wii-U did in June. I'm guessing there were no new releases? I suppose it made up the rest of it's sales for the first 6 months from stronger sales in the other months, because it's sold more than Vita overall. ~ 8k is actually an above average month for Vita based on 34k over 6 months; wonder what released which caught their interest.

Anyway, onto the bulk of it, but great June for 3DS; and great 6 month sales from PS3.

UK has a smaller population and the numbers are double.

I think the UK overall is more wealthy than France, this might be a factor in this. Don't quote me on it, though.

Well technically France is wealthier because GDP is higher in France, it is the 5 th economy in the world, maybe only 6 th now because of Brazil. Anyway the way of life is not that different between UK and France, the difference is elsewhere.

UK software is really a lot cheaper than in France, so it must boost the national market. In addition UK is a must country for importing. I even know French people who imports from UK because it is cheaper. 

Us Germans do it, too. Even with customs importing from the UK is cheaper.

That must also explain why a country definitely wealthier than UK (even not by much) and more populous (80 millions germans I think) has a smaller market than UK.

The 199Eur bundle ! even though it was only available after the second half of June in france. I see it is still maintaining a good position in Amazon Charts.

About the OP: WiiU isn't doing well at all, especially if we look at June numbers. Vita doing bad. PSP and Wii are selling very good thank's to cheap price and piracy.

Most of the charts we see for Europe suggest that we're overtracking the Xbox. I wonder where the Xbox is selling more than expected. Brazil? Mexico? Asia? Africa?
