There's a lot more than a handful of great games, just look them up on metacritic and see the high scores most of those games have. Just because you don't prefer the genre or you are tired of Mario does not mean it is not a great game.

No, the OP missed a lot of games as well. OP missed Sonic Generations, Super Street Fighter IV, Dead or Alive, Zero Escape, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy, Harvest Moon, a plethora of eShop games (VC and original 3DS eShop games), the upcoming Rune Factory 4, Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Milennium Girl, Yoshi's New Island, an announced Persona game, and there's the maybe Dragon Quest VII and maybe Fantasy Life.

There are still more games that could be on the list but I didn't put them down.

When compared to what? Saying the OP's list of games (which isn't nearly all of them) are bad just because you don't like them doesn't warrant this whole generation pathetic. Many, many people herald the 3DS' library as one of the best, already.

If you don't care enough to open a tab and look up the gameplay then I don't think you are even rometely interested in the 3DS at all. You can look at the list of good games for the system here, and I doubt you already knew about all these games or could possible remember them all, considering there are so many there.

Ya I bought Mario Tennis because it was $25 and I was pretty dissapointed, especially considering how good some of the older Mario Tennis games were. I mean Mario Tennis Power Tour is one of my favorite GBA games, if you haven't played it yet I highly recommend it.
