Without adequate working capital they would be closed down and bankrupt. 

They will have well over $5bn in cash, well over.

Seeing a video of Kaz.. i expect next quarter results are going to be better than the expectation.. otherwise i dont see a reason for making a 3:30 min video of the CEO of the Sony.. They should have some impressive results to show..

Well they showed they were making a small return to profit, so I expect that to continue in an upward trend. 

I did my bit today buying two bits of Sony Kit. :)

To some extent, profit and loss doesn't matter at all as long as a company has cash on hand, which it can obtain as long as creditors are willing to lend to it.

Would not a lot of the impact on working capital due to the manufactue cost of the PS4  , depend on how they have structured their payments cycles in regard totheir pipeline partners. maybe Kowen could clear this up.

I check the IR news in Sony site everyday and they didn't share anything yet.

Do you know how company announcements work?  Why the hell would you check the IR news when awaiting full results?  Nothing new in my previous two posts?  This just tells me you dont know how to read financial news.  I stay out of discussions about processors and memory, it isnt my thing, I dont know what I am talking about in that area..........

If you are only interested in shipment numbers and gaming division numbers and not the actual financials of Sony why do you make the thread?

Anyhow, profit is a certainty. Yen is massively weakened.  See Ninty numbers for proof of how much difference this has made.   Even Nintendo, on pretty poor fundamentals, has managed to scrape a profit.

Well any revision in forecast or other others info about the results are posted in the Sony IR news... I think this quarter we didn't have any big news.

I still read the Nintendo results... I'm shocked.

Just 16 hours....

I think it will be easy to Sony have the top hardware shipment for the quarter... 3DS only shipped 1.4 million... so my predictions:

1.8 Consoles shipped
0.9 Portables shipped
