Good job, nice breakdown.

Looks like that AC3 exclusives worked out for Sony, but still only moved it to tie with the X360. Any chance we could get those break downs by games?

Bummer about the WiiU though. I guess ZombieU didn't really meet expectations.

i didnt release the breakdown, this is from ubi them selfs :)

the change is percentage is probably due to the lower sales of just dance and no release of a Your Shape: Fitness Evolved games on the 360.

I think AC3 eventually sold more on the PS3 over the X360, which was the first time an Assassin’s Creed game did that.  I thought it might have been because of the exclusives, special console and bonuses on the PS3.

But yea, they didn't have a popular Kinect game and didn't make a new Your Shape.  Even they 'Ravin Rabbits' Kinect game didn't seem up to par.

Still, with Stick of Truth, new Assasin’s Creed, Watch Dogs and some others, they should have a great year.  Ubisoft is one of my favorite publishers and seem to be able to work with anyone.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

360 down quite a bit, ps3 held for the most part.

The big winner PC!!! I wonder if that % will sway back to consoles once next gen hits its stride or if PC will retain that % or even grow it.

i think it will continue growing, but slower.

Curious to see this for Q3 & Q4.

Assassins creed 2 also sold more on the ps3. While brotherhood was was a gap over over a 100,000 and revelations is under 50,000. so one of those may eventually pass it. Also if you count a copy of 1 with every copy of brotherhood for the ps3... yeah I don't count that either

I'm surprised by the relations between the vita and the 3ds I guess the ac liberation bundle really made a huge difference

Depends if they revert back to treating PC gamers like seccond class citizens with month late buggy poorly optimised ports. Or continue to deliver great PC versions with games like Far Cry 3, and great smaller titles like Blood Dragon and CoJ: Gunslinger day and date with the other versions (It looks like Splinter Cell, and Watch Dogs will be but Assassin's Creed IV is still delayed a couple weeks). Share will probably drop for the first couple years of next gen tho regardless, next gen hype is strong a lot of people will move back to consoles for multiplatform games until PC hardware that is much more powerful than consoles becomes cheap again. I mean one of their biggest upcoming games The Devision is currently PS4/Xbone only at the moment, plus Rayman Legends isn't listed for PC. It remains to be seen what they do with their PC exlusive franchises Might and Magic and Anno as well.

Ubisoft's handheld business has really fallen apart.

Handheld percentage of sales by fiscal year

2006: 22%
2007: 21%
2008: 30%
2009: 32%
2010: 18%
2011: 10%
2012: 6%
2013: 4%

First off people put that into perspective.

Wii U's 3% is on a userbase that was less than 3.5m.

Yet it beat consoles with bases FAR higher like 3DS, DS, and PSP. As well as another with moderately higher userbase and a base most people consider more friendly to 3rd parties... Vita.

Wii U is doing just fine for Ubi... when you consider its tiny base. If Wii U had the 80m PS360 have... it would clearly be similar or even greater.

Attach rates of new consoles are always high, and it's much less impressive when you remember that includes 3 exclusive titles one of which is the best selling 3rd party and 3rd highest selling game on the system. Vita performance is also poor so not exactly a high bar, I doubt Ubisoft will be dropping another exclusive on there any time soon. Wii has by far the largest install base and is still less than half the other platforms even with Ubisoft providing the number one 3rd party franchise (by a wide margin) on the Wii via Just Dance, so your argument doesn't really hold water there.

bold: for that specific time frame... where Wii is basically dead and its active userbase is far smaller than the raw numbers suggest. Plus Wii got pretty much just one game. It did not get all the AAA titles Ubi makes.
