God I don't want ANY of those company to buy Atlus, they're all inferior! I get Marvelous is the least offensive....

I agree with Bad.. Gung Ho. What the Fuck was EA mentioned in this thread?
SEGA too
Nintendo. I want the SMT x FE game to happen. Or third party.
Estelle and Adol... best characters ever! XD
I would rather have Tecmo Koei, Gung Ho, Marvelous AQL or Nippon Ichi to buy Atlus. I would feel confident that they would continue to have Atlus do what they do best and then localize the game.

If Microsoft bought it, Atlus would go under...

I hope Nintendo or Sony buy it, or at the very worst Square Enix. I don't know if Sony will though since the PS4 is coming soon, but exclusive Atlus support for the PSV could save it in Japan.
Nintendo has had a lot of financial trouble too, but again, exclusive Atlus support could kill off the Vita in Japan, and make 3DS/Wii U even more desirable. Nintendo needs some new IP's, and who better to supply them
Realistically, I see Sony or Square Enix Buying it.
Edit: Namco Bandai would make a good suiter.

Sony don't have the money?? The fuck. Atlus being a handheld dev is precisely why Sony should buy them. They could save the Vita with some exclusive RPGs |
They certainly don't have the $$ to be buying up studios right now, what with the Vita not returning investment and the PS4.
I don't think what the Vita needs is more niche JRPGs. They have those already. People are calling the Vita a Persona 4 machine. They be already getting Dragon's Crown. (Vita should've had a GTA 5 spinoff to ride with the hype of GTA5, in all honesty I was expecting one to happen)
Not to say Nintendo will either though. Monolith Soft was an outlier. They didn't want to be absorbed when Namco moved HQ so they asked Nintendo for help. They not be needing to expand JRPG devs. More than that they be expanding EAD for Star Fox and Metroid (one can hope).
Yeah, but I don't think a company that recently cut it's profit outlook in games by 75% is going to be saying "lets buy a studio"
I'd like EA to buy them just for the sheer scale of the meltdowns.
http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

I don't think the games sell enough for Capcom to care. If Capcom did have interest, I'd have to agree though.
Breath of Fire is one of my favorite RPG series and I'm not really a fan of Capcom's treatment of the series. While there was nothing wrong with development of the titles, every game in the series were nothing short of quality in my opinion, it's that Capcom's done nothing with the series for 10 years. Breath of Fire Dragon Quarter was a new direction for the series, the first completely different game rather than just the somewhat big changes the series received going from BoF1/2 to BoF3/4, but it was still a great game. So what that Dragon Quarter didn't sell well. The graphics turned people off and people didn't like it because of the difficulty. But nope, this is Capcom. The sales for Dragon Quarter was practically the end of the series. Breath of Fire 3 made everyone assume there would be future titles in the series, but we haven't seen or heard anything about another Breath of Fire in seven years.
