Cause bd is the worst piece of crap since the invention of DVD, cd and laser disc before that... In other word the worst, most unreliable, unpractical way of storing data since the punch card... Of course like every piece of crap it became mainstream and mass distributed...

like I said in an other post I have 3 bd drive on 3 devices and never bought a bf... And beside a few used games because I had no other choice I haven't bought a single cd or DVD for half a decade or so.... And I listen to more music, watch more movies and play more games than the average Joe... I would drop the disc drive before Kinect any day and I actually know more people through surveys that would be ready for that.... That a few thousands hangry backward pseudo hardcore gamer that decided versatil disc is more worthy than Kinect... Which factually false beside for a plastic box collector who loves dust and hates nature by not giving a fuck about his carbon footprint....

Kinect is integral to XBO. The entire console is built around it and from the people using it so far seems to really like it.

It isnt built around BR though. IF they do this itll give people an option. You arent forced to get the $400 model. It seems like a good plan to me.

@Ironman i saw that thread yesterday. Its from the same user who has made thread after thread talking about how evil MSFT is and why theyre horrible. Suggestion would just be to ignore his threads as well as threads similar to his. If youre happy with your XBO thats all that matters and vice versa with other consoles.

@ a comment you gave earlier about Dead Island being bad.  Wrong!  It's horrible.  Beyond the trailer theme song i would never even remembered this game.  Hated it.

I have a way better track record as an MS customer even in the worst times than I ever did with Sony and that is one of the reason I don't only not trust Sony but fundamentally dislike ALL or most of their products, when it comes to my needs... of course they good products but in markets I completely don't care such has semi pro and pro camcorders....

and I always laugh when people say they are evil.... to me from personal awareness they are way less evil than their direct completion like apple or google to my knowledge and beside gaming Sony more a partner to MS and vice vers ca than an enemy... they make way more money working together on those market than they compete for on the gaming market so it pretty much voids any argument you can make antagonizing both of them to be honest....
