October for South Africa really?

Thats almost a year after PS4 released in our county. Xbox 360 did an AMAZING job in SA last gen in getting decent marketshare...but i feel like this late release and more expensive release will really hurt the brand in SA.

Big mistake by MS for not trying to compete harder here. I know a lot of people say MS made the right decision to focus on US and Europe but given the number of shipments i think MS should have at least had some sort of presence in all the major markets on every continent. Even if it was small shipments that sold out immediately at least there would be some sort of hype and competition with the PS4.

But since they have zero presence in stores at the moment all that attention is pushed to PS4.

From some countries point of view...MS is doing what Sony did last gen with the PS3. Releasing a year later at a much higher price point.

Lets just hope this is a false rumour. But given the info our local retailers have been giving out it doesnt look positive for a early 2014 release.

So me my wish list beside the good stuff we all talk about extensively like rare old IP reboot, sequel or prequel of MS franchise etc...

I'd like a good survival horror game.. Something really freaky scary... I'd like a burnout kind of game with major arcade stunts and crashes... I'd like a star wars kotor kind of game or an RPG turn based like that or baldur's gate on PC or fallout 1/2... And I really want a story driven action RPG like ME if possible Sci fi.... A good ninety nine nights And finally an enigma game like myst/riven???

I hope Fable is 2014, it's one of my most anticipated titles. And with Halo 2 instead of Halo 5, that's another off the 2014 notch.

Still I have Evolve, Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Break to look forward to.

Why is everybody is saying those leaks ruined E3 for MS???? Nothing new has been revealed or at least nothing highly suspected... He just gave a schedule on those things... If that was suppose to be their E3 that was pretty lame imo...

and Ballmer a marketing suite??? He has been in the company longer than 99% of MS employee he is almost one of the founders in the company since 1980... Most of us weren't in our fathers balls when he joined MS.. And has piloted MS for 13years during witch they have been under serious fire by their own failures and also heavy competition and he still managed to do record earnings for years when everybody was cursing me and him... While I can understand people disliking him... You have to give credit where it's due... Farewell Steve and enjoy your moulah :p

Yeah but once again... That's just the expected stuff... Nothing wow worthy for an E3 to me...90% was already shown/announced/rumored at E3 20143... Nothing worth more than the 2014 E3 introduction has been leaked imo... Just the opening goodies that set up the road map for what we already know... I expect far more from an MS E3 presser... If I heard about it more than 3 months before it's just E3 time filler to me...

Those guys hating Ballmer for anything else than his style are morons... The guy was the 30th MS employee he has one of the purest MS pedigree you could have... More than any techie or engineers at MS could be... He pretty much built the company with Gates.... So they can whine PR all they want... He knew MS better than almost anyone else at that point in 2000
