Yeah, I agree it's a little too early for predictions. May 1st sounds good to me. Also, where did Seece go?

I'll PM you...

You underestimate the appeal of Halo. Its a series that has demonstrated better legs than most IPs. Also, I don't really feel Amazon charts are worth much. The most popular items there aren't the best selling items in the country, just Amazon.

Anyhow, I don't think Witcher 3 has mass appeal. Atleast based on Amazon. :-p

If this was Halo 5 we were talking about I'd agree that it would be a huge bundle, but MCC? At release a Halo:MCC bundle could have been a big deal, but MS squandered that opportunity. The game has already been on the market for 4 months, and most of a game's lifetime sales, even in a franchise with strong legs, happen in the first few months. The fact that the AC Unity bundle, which has been available for more than 4 months, is outselling the Halo:MCC bundle, speaks volumes.

Eh, I'm not really sure about that. Witcher 1 and 2 have sold well over 7 million copies combined, despite the first game being a PC exclusive and the 2nd game not releasing on a 2nd platform for a year. All signs suggest that Witcher 3 will be even more popular than Witcher 2, it's on 3 platforms at release, it's getting a much bigger marketing campaign (Xbox branded marketing since MS got the marketing deal), the fact that it's trailers are getting far more views, the fact that it has won over 100 awards before it has even released, including several fan voted most anticipated awards. I get the feeling it could top 8m lifetime across all 3 platforms, even more if it wins GOTY. I think Witcher 3 would make for a great bundle from May until September, when it could be replaced with a Halo 5 bundle possibly. Also, in August they could introduce a Madden + Joe Montana bundle in the US, get alot of football fans to choose Xbox One. In September they could do another FIFA bundle as well, assuming they got the FIFA marketing deal again this year, which would boost European sales if combined with a price drop.

Again, that's just Amazon where the AC:U bundle is selling better than the Halo bundle. Its not a reflection of sales in the country. Hence, that argument doesn't hold water with me. Maybe its becoming difficult to find a AC:U bundle outside of Amazon? I still anticipate Halo:MCC having solid legs.

Witcher has been popular amongst PC gamers, its also been sold for as little as a dollar on several occasions. Quite frankly, WItcher 1 and 2 don't appeal to console gamers in a significant way. Maybe that will change will with Witcher 3. I haven't played the game but hopefully its more like other WRPGs and less like past Witcher games.

Hmm, I don't know. He was writing for VGC there for awhile. Would they really ban one of their own writers? I haven't got Slade's PM yet, I'm guessing it's a long one.

Anyone can get banned; infact us staff members are held to a higher level than other users because we represent the site and our behaviour should be something to strive for; a role model as you would.

But yeah I'd advise discussing the matter in a PM.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Not yet, they usually wait until almost the last minute to annonce GWG. So probably Monday or Tuesday next week, maybe Friday this week though if we're lucky.

Ah, ok. Thank you.

I won't predict anything, Spencer is so obvious that is boring.

Keeping your expectations low so that the Lost Odyssey 2, Shenmue 3, Persona 5, Kingdom Hearts Collection, and new Square Enix JRPG announcements will blow you away? xD Just kidding, we'll be very lucky if we get two of those (KH Collection and the new Square Enix home console JRPG they teased for E3) and those 2 would likely be announced off of Microsoft's stage, the rest are nearly impossible at this point.

I simply don't expect anything outside what we already know.

Banjo and such. Spencer already said on Twitter how he finds nearly impossible to surprise anyone... He got nothing.

Somehow I was interpreted as talking about jp games, I was saying in general obviously.

Other than that though, I agree that almost everything is expected at this point.

Nobody have expected Killer Instinct at E3 2013 and Scalebound at E3 2014. Sry guys but you dont know what Microsoft Publishing Studio are cooking.

What about Ori?

People on the internet are doomers by nature. It's better to kick back, relax and enjoy the ride to E3.

Wow, 4.5m is pretty nice. Done pretty well on X360/PC. Hopefully Quantum Break can have the same success but start off faster
