The only games that could give halo a run for its money for shooter of the year in my opinion would be battlefront and rainbow six.

Ya I don't think dice has the ability to make a 9/10 campaign. The only one that could challenge halo at sp is probably doom but I doubt it. 

 

 Unless 343 mess up halo 5 should be a shoe in for both of those awards. Very doubtfull that it will win goty though. Unless it gets a 97+ metacritic(which will never happen no matter how good it is because some reviewers give it bad scores because they are tired of halo) it might get the nomination but that's it.

Man I thought before uncharted got delayed that Sony had an inferior holiday lineup. Ms has 3 exclusives this holiday that could be classified as "big exclusives" in halo, tomb raider, and forza. Sony meanwhile in my opinion had zero. Some medium ones in ratchet n clank and persona. Obviously there are some that will tell u that sony has a beast lineup.

I think they are, possibly forbcoop and mp too.In addition to the teases Tim longo had given just think about it. It took 343 about 3 years to do halo 4. Early on they had around 100 devs. They finished with around 200. This time around it will also be about 3 years but they started with 250ish and are 350ish strong now. That's double the man hours into the project. Let's hope they are cooking up something crazy.

Best multiplayer will probably be between Halo 5, Black Ops 3, Star Wars Battlefront, and Rainbow 6: Siege, with a 5th nomination probably going to a non-shooter multiplayer game (though I'm not sure what at this time). Of those I loved Halo 5 MP, disliked previous Black Ops MP, am unsure of Star Wars: Battlefront's MP, and feel like Rainbow Six: Siege will be too team focused for the general MP population to like it.

Battlefield 3 was bad. Bad company 2 was pretty goofld. Solid 8/10 for a sp campaign.

I doubt Halo will be delayed. MS will rush it and even release it broken if they have to kinda like what they did with the MCC.
