You should buy payday 2.  It will be cheap and it's great 4 player online co-op. Heist type gameplay.  If you've not already played it,  it should keep you happy until MKX

I've gotten my hopes up for FF XV/Versus being close to release too many times at this point.

Until I actually have the full game downloaded on my console I will treat it's existence as a complete myth fabricated by Square Enix to keep their fans interested in anything they have to say.

Maybe they will delay one of them to spring 2016 to spread them out for more effect. 

They already did do just that with Quantum Break by the looks of it

They were probably debating which of quantum break and tomb raider to delay and chose to keep tomb raider this year to face off with Uncharted. 

I reckon it has a lot more to do with Remedy always needing way more time to finish their games than they originally anticipate lol

As an aside I've randomly started playing through FFVII again now that LA Noire is concluded (Vice>Arson>Homicide>Traffic is the correct order BTW). Haven't finished it for reasons and it's been about, what, 10 years since I last played it? Anyway currently in the Bone Village, so near the end of the first disc I feel. The atmosphere is still amazing, the characters funny and the music is mindblowing even now. It's not as hard as I remember, but that's not a major surprise I suppose.

Anyway what I'm getting at is I can see why so many people want a remake, because the game is amazing but it's definitely dated. Could do with a fresh coat of paint let's say. And if some of these awesome ideas make their way over to FFXV, then well who am I to complain?
