Does anyone own a 4k capable tv over here?

In my idea those are still quite niche(and really expensive).

I dont.  Itll be some time before they become popular because price.  However on PC  and monitors that will be a different story

Congratulations Tiago on 70k posts!

That's quite the milestone. Who would have thought we'd get this far, eh?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Few of my friends own one but not me yet.  I think they paid bit below 900€ for a 55'' Samsung which is ok considering what my friends and I had to pay years ago for our first flat screens which were much smaller and had only 720p if even that.

The real price jump starts at 60 inch and if I buy one then minimum 60 inch so yeah, not worth it for me right now.

Honestly Ryuu i think youre a Wizard or something.....

I like that MK Collectors edition xD It looks decent quality. Ill wait until i get a better view of it though

Batman: Arkham Knight was the most pre-ordered game on Amazon in January

The Division, Witcher 3 and Halo 5 still proving popular with pre-order customers, too.

Batman: Arkham Knight was the most pre-ordered game on Amazon.co.uk in January, the retailer has revealed.

Dying Light came in second, no doubt as players prepared for its original January 28 release, with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt in third.

Tom Clancy's The Division and Halo 5: Guardians followed in fourth and fifth, with The Order: 1886, GTA 5 PC, Battlefield Hardline, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain and Uncharted 4 rounding out the top 10.

Despite last month's beta, however, Evolve failed to crack the top 10, placing just outside at No.11.

"It's clear to see customers are remaining loyal to their favourite franchises with Batman: Arkham Knight, The Witcher 3, Grand Theft Auto V and the redesigned Battlefield Hardline," said Xavier Garambois, Vice President of EU Retail at Amazon. "It's also great to see customers putting their faith into innovative new games like monster-hunter Evolve or crowd-funded Project CARS, which are set to do very well this year."

Arkham Knight's success is likely due to Amazon opening pre-orders for its exclusive Limited Edition last month.

The £79.99 edition contains an exclusive art book, comic book and statue – the latter of which appeared to give away a major spoiler for the game's plot. The SKU has since sold out on PS4.

Take a look below for the top 20 pre-ordered games on Amazon in January 2015.

1. BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT
2. DYING LIGHT
3. THE WITCHER 3: WILD HUNT
4. TOM CLANCY'S THE DIVISION
5. HALO 5: GUARDIANS
6. THE ORDER: 1886
7. GRAND THEFT AUTO 5 (PC)
8. BATTLEFIELD HARDLINE
9. METAL GEAR SOLID 5: THE PHANTOM PAIN
10. UNCHARTED 4: A THIEF'S END
11. EVOLVE
12. THE ELDER SCROLLS ONLINE
13. FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 HD
14. PROJECT CARS
15. BLOODBORNE
16. MORTAL KOMBAT X
17. DEAD ISLAND 2
18. DRAGONBALL XENOVERSE 2
19. HOMEWORLD REMASTERED COLLECTOR'S EDITION
20. THE LEGEND OF ZELDA (WII U)

Amazing to see Halo 5 on number 5(ha) on the list even though it's not going to be released until the end of the year, TLOZ barely made it to the list at #20 while Uncharted 4 is at 10. The preorder difference between Halo and Uncharted is very interesting.

Proud to be a Californian.

Good post. This is not a big deal at all. Their games are not AAA quality and have no mass appeal. Sony gained something from this not lost. People only care because now they can say "XB1 has this too now." The thread title is funny though.

Their games have mass appeal and probably more people will play H1Z1 than Uncharted, GT and some other games together (not on PS4 but in general). Obviously because it will be F2P eventually but yeah, I guess many many millions of people will play this game when it will be F2P and when the playable world will get much bigger.  It's already selling very good on Steam and that when people know that it will become F2P...

Sometimes I wonder if console gamers have an idea how big some games are. It's like saying World of Tanks has no mass appeal because you don't hear many talking about it in forums but in reality it is just gigantic.

They're mostly F2P and the main fanbase is on PC. SOE Playstion output is garbage. They have no big presence in the console space. Now for some reason so many XB1 owners want to play their games?

Nero is interesting, I need to see more gameplay of it tho.

You said their games have no mass appeal but they have when millions of people play them (F2P or not). And yes, their output was garbage on console but it seemed to get better in the future since all their games are planned for console if I'm not wrong.

if there are really many Xbox owners who care about their games is something I can't tell, if there are 100 Xbox owners and 10 say they find it awesome to get their hands on these games then it's not really many...but in general it is obviously awesome when some games come to your console even if you don't care about them personally since that helps to get a healthy eco-system.

I mean, I don't care about many games but I'm still happy when they come to the consoles I own and I'm sure that at least H1Z1 would be a decent success on PS4 and XBO if they will improve some stuff the next year. Many Xbox owners love State of Decay and at least some of them will also like H1Z1 even if it is another concept.

Pretty crazy how well Halo 5 is doing almost a year before release

That's Halo for you. I'll be very surprised if Halo 5 isn't the most preordered game in 2015 on any single platform in the US and the UK. The only game I could see topping it is if Fallout 4 is announced for release this year soon.

Don't be silly, word on teh street is that Halo is dying and H5 will sell 2m LT.

Mann I want Fallout 4
