Xbox 1 can sell one extra console at one store, but that doesn't equal the total of consoles it lacks to outsell the PS4 in North America and the rest of the world.

Wow - look at all those Apple products on top. For those who thinks the Xbox One is expensive at $499, it does a heck of a lot more than an Apple iPad (and I am an Apple fan).

lol yeah I agree rain could be a nice addition and I don't mind it in an arcade game and it does look like nice visually when done right.... but in the sim context like you said I know I would turn it off if it is just for show or badly made compared to regular weather....
and I'm not even that good at forza, I just like to play the game (well I'm not that good at any game in MP, I play for fun not for competition) but I like things done right like you put it...
what I don't like is people saying a game is bad because it doesn't have those visuals... to me it's a pretty bad argument for a sim... a competing game could have better visuals and weather by a mile if it is not a better sim gameplay it shouldn't deserve a better review... again when we are talking about simulation games....

I'm not sure it is a old IP
my reasoning is the following....

first they did say that they wanted to explore old IPs which to me imply they haven't started yet and are on their to do list but not yet green lited...
second I don't if you remember and if we should put any weight into it... but they had that bowling bag or what not a few months ago where you could see all those characters from past IPs and the last one was a question mark which to me could suggest a completely new character and therefore a completely new IP

so my guess it might be a new IP. yet maybe something that would appeal to the nostalgia of old fans....

well first a 3000 people sample on a survey is way enough to have an accurate statistic on target customer base... second reports so far shows that a lot of store got more  re-stock shiped to them for XB than PS... so right now more stock means more sales no matter how high the demand is for one or the other.... since it is higher than the stock for both consoles....

and like I said in an other post earlier to someone else even if MS produces only 2.5 milion units and Sony 3 milions... to have 2.5 milions sold on the 13 countries they are both competing in is better than spread your marketshare among more countries... yeah WW they'll have more market share (in that case since it is not proven that MS stock is smaller than Sony's) but MS will have more on more relevant markets... I'd take a higher market share in UK/US/Germany/italy/spain etc over having it spread with smaller countries with a smaller market any day if I had to chose... in other word I'd take a 60% market share in one single big market over an equivalent market spread among 3 countries less relevant to the industry with 20% each (this is just a theorical example)

P.S.: to non launch countries I'm not saying you are irrelvant, I'm just sayng it makes more business sense to focus and try to grab more market shares on bigger more relevant markets...

that said we'll know more clearly what is going on in january not right now...

Amazon UK says there'll be no Xbone stock until 7th January. If true, that suckz

They didn't receive any XBOs at the Target near me for Black Friday, or PS4s. THey were told they would at least get a few and nada.
