Are you limiting this to men?

Because you could list a lot of leading ladies: Vanessa Redgrave, Judi Dench, and, of course, Katharine Hepburn, who won three Oscars AFTER the age of 60.

No, but that is all I listed. Meryl Streep is doing really well too.

I always loved Kathy Hepburn. Especially in The Philadelphia Story. I think Jeff Bridges has been the most successful, and he hardly ever pickes a role that is bad.

Bridges is definitely a solid choice.  If we're going with that age bracket, I'd also include Bill Murray and Spencer Tracy.

Peter O'Toole and Ian McKellen would be an excellent choices too.

If you include directing as well as acting, I think Clint Eastwood is pretty much unequaled with Million Dollar Baby, Letters From Iwo Jima, Gran Torino and much more depending on what you define as "golden years"

Definitely.  

Out of those listed it has to be Eastwood or Freeman, not that Bridges is doing bad.  

I would also say Helen Mirren needs some recognition.

I'd agree with the headline here. Two or three years ago, I always liked him well enough in the occasional movie of his I saw. Now, he's one of my favorite actors all-time.
I'd also throw George Clooney on the list if he's considered old enough yet (don't actually know his age)? I really, really enjoyed "Up in the Air" and "The Descendants." Two of my favorite recent movies.

imo opinion no one had a better golden years carreer than morgan freeman.

he almost has not existed before he was 40-remember seeing him first time in brubaker
but since shawshank redemption and unforgiven he played in many blockbusters with a lot of famous actors.Noone can come close to this l.

considering bridges-imo his best years were end60ies -mid 80ies with milestone movies like "last picture show","last american hero",thunderbold&lightfoot(one of the best movies ever) tron,starman,cutters way and other movies (sadly i don't know their english names)

Eastwood for sure. Others listed are doing great, but Eastwood's recent films are classics.



Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

Peter O'Toole is off of my list, but McKellen could make it. Although, most of his movie success was basically handed to him on a silver platter. Lord of the Rings and The X-Men were never going to fail.

 

Bill Murray has been brilliant. Not as bright as Jeff Bridges though. Just as creative though. Who played the role of "Patton"?

George C. Scott. He's great, but he didn't do that many remarkable things after Patton.

What about Michael Caine? He just turned 80 and he's still going strong.

I barely know who that guy is so probably not.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.
