Sir Ian McKellen would like a word. Both Gandalf AND Magneto :D

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Paul Newman, Cary Grant, James Stewart and Katharine Hepburn come to mind.

Actually there are many actors in movie history who had a great late careers. It was and is still is far easier for men though, see e.g. Anthony Hopkins and Morgan Freeman, who became world stars at the age of 50+ and then got leading role after another. That's something actresses can only dream of.

But I agree, Jeff also has a great late career. Good for him, I love the Bridges family. Jeff, big brother Beau and late daddy Lloyd. Such great, laidback guys. "The Fabulous Baker Boys" is still my most favorite movie ever with siblings.
