XBOX original: $200 bundled with Top Spin, Amped 2. 

DS Lite: $150 with Brain Age 2. Also picked up NSMB DS.

PS3: $300. Picked up Uncharted, Heavenly Sword & MGS 4.

Wii U: $200 for basic. Picked up Nintendo Land & NSMB U. 

I never buy consoles full price at launch, always wait at least one year, often two before I buy one. I do buy a lot of games but the vast majority are at Platinum price point.
This gen, I think I bought two games for my PS3 at full price (GT5 and The Last of Us) but I own 21 PS3 games now so the total is still fairly high.
For the PS2, I own/owned well over 100 games, some bought at full price.
I also had a lot of games for PS1 and N64 and games were really expensive back then.

Overall, I spend a lot of money on consoles despite purchasing almost everything at a fraction of the full price, the sheer volume of purchases ensures this.
With the console, accessories and all the games, my PS3 probably cost me around 8000-9000 NOK thus far, the PS2 probably cost me over 15.000 all in all.

What I spent? So 2600 and NES do not count as I did not pay for them.

As a rule I wait on consoles to drop or have sales, lone exceptions being Playstation 2 when I was desperate to move away from PS1/N64 era of games and surprisingly this year as things fell into place to get a Playstation 4 at launch.

I think what I consider expensive has changed a great deal, $99 use to take me a year to save up as a kid working odd jobs, now it is more about if I feel something is worth the price on it. I said before E3 that $399 was my max for now and would hold to that. Fortunately Sony obliged. I also imagine I will get a Wii U when it hits $199 and has some more games I am interested in.

N64 with Mario Kart - I don't remember exactly but it was more than $150
Xbox - $200
Xbox 360 with Kinect, 2 Kinect games and Halo Reach - $600

$999.95 for my PS3 on launch plus a game for $120 and a second sixaxis for $120, Australian money though.

Nintendo systems at launch. Anything else I want when it's cheap. (Still waiting on an amazing PS3 deal, though I guess I need to work through my backlog before I can consider getting one.)
