I'm against piracy in general, but I won't shed a tear for EA.
Well, if we had UK tax rates in the US a $60 game would end up being $72 right now.
My guess is $60 will be the ceiling for base model of games with DLC and CEs or LEs added optional costs on top.

$80 would be fine with me (if it was the local price haha) Bloody Aus and their $120-$140 estimated prices.
I won't be purchasing BF4 if this is true and will be going COD instead. BF4 will be a huge flop if this is true. PC gamers won't pay that much either.
Sadly it will probably work out well for them in regards to total profits for some games :/ I doubt an extra £10 in cost is going to stop the hoards of European sports fans from buying Fifa...
That said, doing this for a game like BF4 would be unbelievably stupid. It'd only work well for Fifa due to it's huge market dominance but if a gamer sees COD for $60 and BF4 for $80, they are going to go for COD, since it's still (and will likely retain for at least a couple more years) the market leader.

lol they may be greedy as anything but their not stupid. Im positive this is a rumour.
While I don't think this will be true, if it is then it's time I find myself a different hobby because I sure as heck can't pay that much money and keep buying many games. It's just too much.
