No, a big difference between an unfinished game that wil not work without a patch, and a buggy game that still works but needs more wrok done.

TO answer your post below the quote: People without internet will buy what is meant to e an optional offline game and find it doesn't work.


i'd take an unfinished game with a full bug content mendatory day one patch any day over a working buggy released game with no patch or no patch required....

but then again I don't have internet issues.... and I think a huge majority are like me...

In this thread. Requires you to read the whole thread, of course. "requirung" is a strong word given that you can play the game offline and given that many games not mentioning it before got released without stating issues.

Yes, the first iteration of a game disc which gets released when the first iteration of the corresponding hardware, which also requires you to get online once, gets released.

well before people with no internet connection finish Forza carier mode or get close to it.... we'll have laser beam satelite ULTRA HIGH SPEED internet connections in caves in in the middle of the  afghan desert....
