I'm a massive fan of stratiegic RPGs with FFTactics wotl and Valkyria Chronicles being my favourite. I was excited to see "Hero Academy" up on steam so I grabbed it the first chance I got, but the downside is that it's multiplayer only...Surprisingly I'm not a fan of multiplayer games (shocking right?) So, is there a game like FFTactics on steam that is single player only.

Do you have an iPhone or an Android Phone? I can highly recommend Spectral Souls and Blazing Souls: Accelate

G-Tactics has my eye but it seems to be getting mixed reviews. What do you think about it? Sadly I lack a phone fancy enough to and I/Android phone

Well if you don't mind looking elsewhere, PSP's filled with them.  Tactics port, Jeanne D'arc, Spectral Souls, random stuff I can't be bothered to look at, I think Atlus made them.

I'm only asking for steam because I bought a prepaid voucher for steam worth £10, spent £4.08 now have £5.92 left. I was going to buy the alan wake collection but I now think my pc might not be strong enough to run it, tie that in with how disappointed with Hero Academy I am. It all rolls together really.

But with that said, since I bought my Vita, my psp has been left by the side with nothing to do and I'm not interested in going back to it sadly.

I know its not on steam but I hope you've played tactics ogre.

Thanks for letting me know about xcom. I haven't played it yet, but I downloaded it on ps+. Glad I didn't miss out on a fftactics type game as those are some of my favorite.
