| psrock said: I was not going to say anything from this sad little thread until I saw this mess. OK, let's just say the kid was bad, fine. The kid was going somewhere, A man decided to follow him with a gun in his waist. That same man ended up killing him, but its the kids fault. The dead kid. The 17 year kid is DEAD, the person who killed him is free yet most of you are celabrating, I don't get it. And Zimmerman had to many choices. 1. Don't follow people 2. No Gun 3. Stay in the car 4. Don't go fight children Zimmerman had plenty of choices, but he was so sure that this kid was up to no good he kept following him instead of waiting for the cops. His life was never in danger, he had a gun and knew it. He wanted to be superman, but took someone kid away from them. And shame on anyone who dares talk bad about this dead child who did nothing wrong, he comminited no crime but being black and looking suspicious. |
Stop calling him a kid. You're appealing to emotion by displaying a street thug as a defenseless little baby because that's what you have instead of facts. Much like the prosecution.
Also he did something wrong. He attacked a neighborhood guard who had every right to defend his life according to Florida's laws. Anyways your demand of Zimmerman following a different course of action but completely exempting Trayvon of the same thing is pretty ridiculous to be honest.
Stay away of arguing if that's the best you can do. You have emotion and the facts the media presented to you. Zimmerman walked free based on jury evidence and the unanimous decision of the jurors so there's nothing you can prove, really.
