PC gaming has absolutely no appeal to me.... it's bland, unpractical and not fun at all compared to console gaming of any kind.... the only reason I have a steam account is for RTS games....

and yeah it is a huge minority.... cause it's not the million+ people that will buy a console pre launch that are the majority.... those are hipster geeks.... I don't consider anybody crawling specialized gaming forums 4 month prior launch being in the majority....

media and retailers are probably the big player in that change....

Good for you. That is the reason I love console gaming, I do not want to learn any of this pc hardware stuff, life is too short.

I think Microsoft needs to give people to option with Retail games.

Basically, if you want to go disc-less, when you insert a disc-based game you're given that option to do so.  Once you go disc-less, then you have to accept that you will have to do a check in, which could be depending on the cirumstance once every hour.  That said, if you go disc-less, unless you're using certain features, then I think they need to extend the interval of when the check in happens. 

Going disc-less would be a one-time thing, though it would be per game.  So, you may have 10 disc-based games that you go disc-less with, but eventually, you buy a game that you decide you not only want to keep, but you also want to be able to share with a friend, so you take that game disc-less.  From that point on, you will need to link up to Microsoft, regardless of whether or not you ever add another game to your profile.

Please bring back DRM then you and your nine buddies can all buy different games and share them saving tons of money.

Since there is no chance in hell of that happening by all means bring DRM back so we can see Xbox One basically become Steam.
