I don't think anyone expected Wii U sales to be this bad, not Nintendo, and not Ubi Soft. It's sales to date are Dreamcast-esque, which coming off the first Wii, which is the fastest selling game console ever (out of the gates) is stunning.
They did make adjustments and now Rayman Legends is a multi-plat game.
