Damn, sold out of ps4 completely on gamestop online. This includes not just the standard console, but also the various bundles, all gone for now. Now I just called my local gs and they are still taking preorders in store(the guy said still unlimited allotment for now), So I would hurry for those who haven't preordered at gs yet. I'm going to try to do it this week.

Do they have a 500k waiting list like Wii U?

Early days folks! :P The weeks following Christmas will give a better indication than the first two weeks similar to the Wii U

im glad i got my in 6th in place, the day after e3. i have another launch day ps4 on amazon, seeing how it might be in good supply, possibly, i might cancel it since i might not be able to make as much money on it as i planned, thing might change, i will see in time.

For some reason, I would rather wait until a few months after the system launches (isn't this what everyone was saying about the U launch anyway?) as opposed to just considering a system a success from a shred of news which may or may not mean a load of preorders (or more even than previous systems).

Yeah this is the thing, the problem is that its part of Retails job to get people excited and in doing so they tell a few porkies.

How far out was it that the Wii-u was having "stock issues" with retail, and what kind of figures did they do. Didnt the Wii-u also launch worldwide around the same time, so it probably had more reason to be supply constrained.

oh lol this wasn't really comparing early sales or anything. Just a heads up for people who haven't pre ordered the ps4 at gs, but wants to like me.
