oh lol this wasn't really comparing early sales or anything. Just a heads up for people who haven't pre ordered the ps4 at gs, but wants to like me. |
Nah that's fair enough. Good spot though, and it's true. If you want one, then get one now!
This is a good sign, but I agree that we should wait until after a few months.
people will be mad when they dont get there PS4 on launch from gamestop it will be all over the news
VITA 32 GIG CARD.250 GIG SLIM & 160 GIG PHAT PS3
Nobody does hype like uncle Sony. I totally got caught up in it until I realised I don't want any of the launch exclusives and I can get the 3rd party stuff on my PC. It totally worked on me for a bit though. I just got a PS3 anyway so I've got A LOT of console games to catch up on while I wait for some 90+ metascores on PS4.

It better perform better than the Wii U. If not it could mean the death of next gen AAA console gaming altogether. Publishers need a massive install base to invest that much money and if they don't get it, they will continue to develop for current gen. Then you won't see any third party games push the hardware and it would be a waste for years to come. It would also continue to hold back PC gaming, which is where I game most.
I hope nobody actually wishes for the PS4 to perform badly. That's just stupid fanboyism.

Well... the Wii U launch was really good... the post launch sales was bad lol.
I think PS4 will do way better in post launch than Wii U.
It's not surprising that a playstation console sells a lot. In the last 18-19 years, a playstation has been the most sold home console each year except in 2007-2010. So, in reality we are going back to normal..., nothing new.
The PS4 has always been my pick for this gen's smooth launch, meaning it isn't constantly overshadowed by the PS3 when all other gen 8 launches have been initially overshadowed by their predecessors. I still think the Wii U will have a late bloom, though.
The One, though? In StrongBad's famous words, "A One that is not Cold is hardly a One at all."
