Forums - Nintendo - Pikmin 3 Includes Worldwide Leaderboards, Outputs At 1080p[updated, ingame]

Online multiplayer doesn't hold much value at all for me.
Monster Hunter Tri is the only game I've ever played where the online didn't just feel like "local multiplayer minus the fun".

EVERY Wii U game outputs in 1080p. Hell, even Wii games output in 1080p on Wii U. Pikmin 3 looks really nice nonetheless. I hope Nintendo can make the game feel new and fresh, and let's hope they really push the franchise this time.

Heh, so we're like opposites, as I'd rather play with random people I don't have to interact with socially than with my "friends," not that I could even get them to play half the games I do.

That social interaction is 90% of the fun for me; laughing with friends or playfully punching them on the arm when we blue shell each other in Mario Kart, chatting/drinking while we play, online feels so cold, clinical and detached by comparison.

It means that native resolution is 1280x720.

Nintendo 2018

English is not my native language.

That is one mighty fine looking game. That is all.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

The actual image is rendered internally at 720x1280, but when it's output to the television it's resized to fit a 1080x1920 pixel display.

Just like every other WiiU game.
