its the same as when SMB was first released, non gamers have hard time playing the game,it didn't change obviously, title is misleading.

No it's not. I was gaming then. I was 7 in 1986, playing this game for the first time. Gamers, didn't exist outside of the arcades. So we were ALL practically "non gamers". But you know what? We learned from these games through blood sweat and tears. Today's gamers, aside from a VERY small minority, would quit gaming altogether if all they had were three lives, no continues and no saves. It's not their fault, but it's the truth.

On the whole, gamers from my generation, at least the ones like me that KEPT playing all the way until now? We have skill sets that are just superior.

Well.. the first Batman and Battletoads for the NES are the most difficult games I have ever finished, for sure...

The funny thing about people saying stuff like the NES generation is superior in skill is that it was mostly an easier generation than the previous one. NES, for the most part, switched from the twitch gaming of the Atari to memory based gaming, where all you really had to do was learn patterns. I used to literally beat most of the NES games I owned playing with the controller behind my back. NES only had a few really difficult games, the rest were cake once you figured out the timing.

The best satire is based on some kind of truth.

This is good satire.

I wonder how many users will actually read through the entire OP and notice that this website is kind of like The Onion for video games.

It is quite sad.

4 5 6? 7 11

I don't think this can be classified as trolling, phishing?

Do you know what phishing means?

yup, can't find the correct term to describe it, somehow phishing just came to mind when I saw you're taking note of numbers.

Phishing is the act of attempting to acquire information such as usernames, passwords, and credit card details (and sometimes, indirectly, money) by masquerading as a trustworthy entity in an electronic communication[1].

I don't think I attempted to steal any of your passwords with this thread

Thats is actually true. When i put on an old mario game when i have lots of people over who don't really play games, but do purchase console and play on the odd occasion, they died a stupid amount of times. within 2nds in some cases.

Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!

Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st

Well that was fun.

I'll admit that the "run button" thing did throw me briefly, but that was the most obvious satire I have ever seen.
