Certainly some worrries are comparable: like what happens when they shut down the server? But the really scary part is the watermarking thing.. It brands the consumer as a potential bad guy.. The movies aren't tied to your account anymore but your account is tied to the movies..

@Sniper: Yes, but it is only 39"/37" inches (I forget which) still not a bad size, but the 50" might be a better deal for the price... personally I'll wait on one.

and if those cheap ass 4k Chinese Tv's are decent then the japanese tv manufacturers are bust.  But 39" 4k tv?  whats the point? its debatable at 50".

Thats for the always connected and DRM heavy (watermark signatures on every file) file downloader from Sony (4k media streamer) to plug into your $4k - 4k tv

Lest we forget.  Kaz has made a big play of all of the divisions working very closely these days.

$4K? I thought it was cose to $25K?

Anyway, sucks for the 50 people that will use them.

MS defense force is really pathetic they WISH the DRM nightmare happen on Sony consoles while Sony fans were actually happy about the Xbox 180.

Compare Rec. 709(HD-FHD) to Rec. 2020(UHD or 4K) to see the difference, it's not only in resolution, you'll see difference on any size, if you are not blind, ofc.

actually, you know what. blu-ray is barely passable right now, 4K is completely doomed to fail. all this does is expedite it's ultimate demise so let's give a sarcastic cheer..
