I struggle to believe this a serious post.

I'd say it is about 50/50 . I went to Uni where the majority of people were of Asian decent. Many knew more about where I was from - because they loved the bluegrass music - than most US Citizens. They were cool lovely and friendly.
I enjoy anime and even missed some school to watch Space Battleship Yamato when it was called Start Blazers in the states.
Then others were proudly racist and/or nationalistic. It was weird. Most racist US people are ashamed and embarrassed by it. It was weird and off putting. I’ve also worked at a number of Japanese Companies and seen many aspects of their culture.
It's like anything, it has it's good and bad qualities. Take Chocolate Cake - it is so good, but eat too much and you get fat-fat.
