I didn't say fighting got/gets me respect.  I said it CAN and it WILL get you respect.

The only people who judge it are insecure weak cowards who hide behind the cloak of ''maturity'' and manners. Im telling you, those people have incredibly easy lives, are fragile, sheltered babies that never had to worry about their image in their society

Lets see what happens when you try to instill "fear" into your boss and threaten him with physical harm. :P
Not only would you probably be fired, but possibly taken to court too!

That's exactly what im talking about. I respect him out of fear of losing my job and money. Not because he's smart/generous/fair/ or good or any crap like that. Fear motivates everything.

I get the feeling you don't exactly know what the word "respect" means. Look it up and tell me how you can respect someone out of fear.

I respect people for helping others, for reaching out and making a differnce. Fear plays absolutely 0 part in my will to repect someone.

Uh...WHAT? Beating someone's ass (especially when it's being record or there are people around) gives you the biggest pride feeling you can get as a man.

You mean as a boy.  Men usually have more important things to be proud of.

Im proud of the kid, you have to stand up for yourself. But like most people have been saying; fighting isn't something you should do unless you have to. Three things of advice. 1) If your serious about defending yourself learn to use your legs, saved my ass in a fight once. 2) Go for body shots and not the guy's face, less likely to injure yourself and its more effective. 3) Wear the other guy out, act like a boxer and make him make a mistake. Ive only been in 3 or 4 fights and im no fighting expert but those three things help me from getting my ass kicked.

Well at least you didn't lose, congrats :p
Now don't get into any more fights!

That doesn't sound conclusive.

Eagerly awaiting Part 2.

Now if this guy has a new girl friend what exactly is his problem with you? Something just doesn't add up here.. Congratulations on standing up for yourself, and of course don't fight if you can avoid it. (Not that you had the opportunity in this case) Also learn to side step and sweep, if you can subdue your opponent with out much physical harm and make it look easy they are more likely to loose control and make mistakes. This also makes them look worse and hurts their pride.

Aim for the balls.

nah. I am not going to be doing any hits in the croch area, or poking in the eyes. I'm going to try and win this fair and square, even if it means getting my ass handed to me.

Go for the jaw, not the head.

The jaw is a very brittle bone in most people.  A good strong hit will make them think twice, put a person on their ass, or break the jaw.  Otherwise, an upper cut cut below the ribs.  This interupts the diaphram, making one lose their breath, possibly winding them.  Not to mention, lots of soft tissue.  A kick to the back of the knee will put a person down, and there are arm holds that can break the without much force.

Also, as odd as it sounds, hit the ears with both fists at the same time.  It's disorienting and it hurts like hell.  In some people, there is a nerve point between the shoulder and the neck, that when pinched, will weaken a person but it is extremely temporary and it doesn't work if they're relatively muscular in the shoulder area.

My MO when fighting is to disable my opponent.  So, nothing wrong with "sitting" on your opponent if it means you've disabled his ability to harm you.  Whether you take advantage of that is completely up to you.

Also, I would call the cops.  Regardless of whether or not you started it, the fact that he felt it necessary to come to your house to take care of it means he's got a few screws loose.  I.e. He's a violent person.  He may, escalate the situation.

Read the update.
LOL why did you lie down in the grass in front of them??? Never show weakness.
Anyway, sounds like a draw.
Oh, and regarding Adinnieken, yeah, a clock right behind an ear is extremely painful and disorienting. It can also make them pass out.

Also, if he was on the ground, you should've taken a couple freebies.

Thought it was Jay VS Fat Kid V2 when I read the thread title, highly disappointed.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.
