Soleron said: I know this thread is satire, and it might not make business sense to do this, but is it bad that I want this? Not so much the HD but the putting maximum effort on all fronts into some flagship games that show what's possible in this gen that wasn't on the Wii. Like how seeing Galaxy or Metroid Prime or Ocarina for the first time makes one say wow. |
Of course it wouldn't be bad... OP is completely misleading. It takes absolutely no cues in Nintendo's pedigree.
The games that are coming out for the WiiU in the not too distant future are games that Nintendo had to release because they are system sellers and are fun. However, Nintendo does want to make games that have a much higher production value and a much greater depth of art, like OoT and SMG. Those games serve their own purpose and are crucial to the console, but like Aeilyn said now is not the time for them, Nintendo needs to resurrect the U right now.
Anyone who doesn't realize this is delusional.
With that said, I voted "In Nintendo I trust" because I know why they're doing it and I approve. They simply can't afford to let the U sink any more right now so what has to be done to keep it alive must be done.
