Strangely, there's kinda some kind of truth in your OP .

"Plus it should go without saying that nobody should buy The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD either."

However I cannot justify myself doing that, even if I think it is the least of the 3D Zelda's, it is still Zelda after all.
