No, "hardcore gamer" is currently synonymous with demanding excessive graphics and ignoring quality gameplay. Sad, but true. If it weren't, "hardcore gamers" wouldn't say a word against Nintendo in terms of their games.

That's bull. I usually always agree with you but this is total BS.

Nintendo never ignores quality gameplay but they certainly are ignoring proper depth of art, and we know why. They need to make games fast. This is acceptable because the games are still fun and Nintendo needs the money, but otherwise I would demand more, FOR SURE.

I thought hardcore gaming was playing COD?? Now for real. I think nintendo is for the hardcore gamers and they are delivering it in 2014 for us. X, zelda-u, SSB. These are hardcore titles. High production value, great gameplay. Lets just wait and relax.
