you're hyped over what since no game was showed?

For the same reasons PC gamers got hyped over the last Unreal Engine 4 demo. Which is not even interactive, contrarily to the Dark Sorcerer.

as far as I know the dark sorcerer is suposed to be a game. the question is how can someone hype a GAME that only had a cutscene/cgi trailer revealed? no gameplay

and liking games you should be hyped for a game that shows grat gameplay potencial, not for a cutscene.

David Cage will do a good job with bringing the game industry forward with storytelling if Heavy Rain was an indicator. I imagine the PS4's capabilities will only strengthen his projects' scope and ambition.

Well, since i'm not allowed to be hyped for this video, i'll just be hyped for the potential it shows for future PS4 games.

The fact that it's interactive means this is the graphical fidelity we can expect in-game. This is not simply a cut-scene/cgi trailer.

Have you ever played a Quantic Dream game? The gameplay is practically married with the animations to evoke emotional responses from the player so this tech demo is quite relevant.

I didn't say anyone specificaly was hyped, I just mentioned that I can't see a gamer getting hyped for a game with no gameplay shown. this goes beyond the dark sorcerer demo since many games are revealed in a cgi/cutscene first but gameplay only comes months later and that's ridiculous.

The reason no gameplay was shown was because it was a tech demo.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with announcing a game and not showing gameplay.
