Internet in sweden is dirt-cheap and high quality all around :) (if you live in the 'forest' you still have good 3g connection)

A decent speed. I did not play any multiplayer online game so far, because I don't have my PS3 here. I have it at my parents house, where they have a 16Mbits DSL. Everything starting at 6Mbits and above should be enough to play games online.
