^Don't get mad with him, because that's how ruler acts. He knows very well what he's doing, and also knows how many BS he spreads not in defense of his platform of choice, but to detract the other options.

Trying to argue with him is useless and pointless. Next time just make a standalone post explaining the real situation and don't respond to his comments or replies to you.

The first paragraph sounds like a description of a troll, and the second paragraph sounds like instructions for dealing with trolls. Makes me think.

Now that you mention it...

But I have to give him some credit, he's a better than average troll.

I feel like my brain cells are dying, just replying to someone so backwards and ignorant.

Don't waste your time with him. He is not willing to listen to logic or reason and ignores evidence.
He reminds me of flat earth believers to be honest.

Exactly. He knows exactly what he is saying and doing, so don't give him the time of day, most people don't take him seriously.

Yeah, it'd probably be mainly for retro games, as I'll go with consoles for modern games. I do find DOSbox difficult, but it's probably because I'm not accustomed to DOS itself, and not having a GUI.

I was using computers before Windows even existed... And all we had was DOS.
Be buggered if I could remember everything related to DOS from 25 years ago though, just wasnt required to retain that information.
I can still navigate and use commands related to managing disks and so on though.

VM is a much easier approach to running old games IMHO. Building a Retro PC is your best bet if you want the good old experience though, but can be   expensive sourcing old working components.

Oh btw, Return to Lordran 2017 is today ! So I might go back for more Dark Souls, however I'm playing The Surge now and I'm having such a blast ^^

I just find it ignorant of him to spread fud and act like it's the gamers fault and not the devs. The guy likes to think that all devs are pure and completely innocent of not fucking things up.

People are human, the devs are human, humans are very much capable of marginal error at times.

He likes to think that he knows a lot about PC gaming, as well as the hw and how games are made, but he really doesn't and it shows.

Just don't engage him then. It's not like he reacts to logic or common sense. I've put him on notice with the mod team so just report him and move on. One of these days he will get banned for his bullshit and it's only going to get better from then on. Just let us work together to get him his deserved permaban he so desperately craves.

Indeed. Looks like there's zero IPC gains, and all the improvements come from the higher core count and higher clocks.

They seem to be good choices if you're on the market for a new PC, but other than that, it's better to wait.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 Paladin class mod adds 6 healing skills
http://www.pcgamer.com/divinity-original-sin-2-paladin-class-mod-adds-six-healing-skills/
Yesterday, it emerged one fast-fingered speedrunner had (somehow) bested Divinity: Original Sin 2 in less than 38 minutes. Me? I'm ten hours deep and am still floundering in the game's Fort Joy opening level.
As such, death has become a semi-constant feature of each of my sessions—which is something Hybrid's Paladin Class mod addresses head on.

Sanic is now playable in emulated Zelda: Breath of the Wild
http://www.pcgamer.com/sanic-is-now-playable-in-emulated-zelda-breath-of-the-wild/
Zelda isn't the protagonist in Zelda games. But then, neither is Link. At least, he isn't if you're using this mod – which replaces the pleasant blonde boy / man with everyone's favourite generously limbed meme.

>>There's an image in the article... priceless.
