We finally have confirmation of the RX 480 8GB price: $229.

AMD Radeon RX 480 8GB to cost 229 USD

http://videocardz.com/61262/amd-radeon-rx-480-8gb-to-cost-229-usd

According to AMD Poland, Radeon RX 480 8GB will cost 229 USD. Of course this is just a suggested retail price, so it will likely be higher at launch, especially in regions where stock is limited.

Translation:
Suggested (retail) price is 229 USD (for 8GB model, 199 for 4GB). The price in Polish zloty will be determined closer to the launch, to avoid differences in exchange rates.

Meanwhile, according to Andrew “Gibbo” Gibson from Overclockers UK, there won’t be any custom designs available at launch on June 29th. Gibbo also speaks a little about RX 480 performance (obviously without any specific data, but I encourage you to check the link above for more info).

The guys at TechSpot have done an article comparing Nvidia's x80 cards since the GTX 480 until the GTX 1080. Weirdly, the three resolutions they have choosen are 1366x768, 1920x1080 and 2560x1600. What can I say, maybe they were bored.

CIVILIZATION 6 TRAILER EXPLAINS CHANGES TO CITIES

http://www.pcgamer.com/civilization-6-trailer-explains-changes-to-cities/

A new Civilization 6 trailer explains how cities in the game are changing rather significantly from those in previous versions. As we learned when it was announced, Civ 6 cities will actually “build out” from their home tile into specialized districts that support specific functions and tasks. Some districts will be unique to specific civilizations, some can earn bonuses based on location, and certain Wonders will require specific types of districts and locations in order to be constructed.

STELLARIS' ASIMOV PATCH DETAILED, BEEFS UP THE MID-GAME

http://www.pcgamer.com/stellaris-asimov-patch-detailed-beefs-up-the-mid-game/

Stellaris is a game chock full of sci-fi potential but underfed in the mid-game. The Asimov patch (1.2), due towards the end of June, aims to fix that. Paradox revealed the first chunk of Asimov last week, and in a new dev diary, it gives us the full picture.

ROCK OF AGES 2: BIGGER AND BOULDER ANNOUNCED

http://www.pcgamer.com/rock-of-ages-2-bigger-and-boulder-announced/

The original Rock of Ages was a tower-defence-y, and very silly game that mixed strategic base-defence with a second phase where you rolled a giant boulder into enemy territory. The giant boulder wore a really happy expression—it just loved bouldering, and who could blame it? In his review, Tom Hatfield described it as "quirky, fun and characterful", but questioned its longevity and depth.

EA TURNED DOWN ROCKET LEAGUE, ACCORDING TO A PSYONIX DEV

http://www.pcgamer.com/ea-turned-down-rocket-league-according-to-a-psyonix-dev/

Rocket League is a whimsical sports game about rocket-powered vehicles playing football. On paper it's not especially appealing – it sounds kinda dumb, to be honest – which is probably why publisher EA turned it down in 2011.

ROCKET LEAGUE'S JUNE PATCH GOES ALL-OUT

EVE: VALKYRIE GETS FREE CARRIER ASSAULT UPDATE

Oculus Rift headliner EVE: Valkyrie has received its first free update, Carrier Assault. If there's a better use for VR than emulating the Death Star trench run, I can't think of it, and evidently neither can devs CCP.

THE TEMPLE OF NO IS A NEW FREEBIE FROM CROWS CROWS CROWS

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-temple-of-no-is-a-new-freebie-from-crows-crows-crows/

Earlier today, Crows Crows Crows boss William Pugh said on Twitter that everyone on the studio's mailing list would be given a free game in just 30 minutes. Naturally, I couldn't remember if I was already subscribed or not, so I signed up (again, as it turned out) just to be sure. 30 minutes later, nothing happened. But after some kinks were worked out the wheels started turning, I eventually received an email linking me to something called The Temple of No.

REROLL, THE CROWDFUNDED GAME THAT WANTED TO SCAN THE WORLD, IS ABANDONED

http://www.pcgamer.com/reroll-the-crowdfunded-game-that-wanted-to-scan-the-world-is-abandoned/

ReRoll was announced in early 2014 by a pair of former Ubisoft developers, Julien Cuny and Louis-Pierre Pharand, who had come together to form a studio called Pixyul. The project was incredibly ambitious, as the team aimed to “reproduce, accurately at scale, the whole planet.” That would be this planet, Earth, scanned in its entirety with HD camera-equipped drones and then converted to 3D. “Once in a game engine, these 3D objects will generate our game environment,” the announcement trailer explains. “That world will be the playground for our first game, ReRoll.”

TITANFALL 2'S DLC MAPS WILL BE FREE BECAUSE EA WANTS YOU TO BE HAPPY

http://www.pcgamer.com/titanfall-2s-dlc-maps-will-be-free-because-ea-wants-you-to-be-happy/

We learned last week that all of Titanfall 2's DLC maps and game modes will be free for everyone. But that doesn't necessarily mean that all the DLC will be free. As Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella told GamesRadar, the studio doesn't want to “split the community” between those who have the maps and those who don't, but somebody has to pay for all this stuff.

http://www.pcgamer.com/rainbow-six-siege-patch-buffs-kapkan-and-mute/

Ubisoft is rolling out a new Rainbow Six Siege patch tomorrow, ushering in significant changes to two of the game's least popular operators. Kapkan, the underused trip wire expert, can now place his laser at any height on a doorway or window, meaning he'll be significantly less useless than he has been in the past (unless you're defending against a reckless opponent).

Hmm i see they brought the older GPUs GTX 480, 580 & 680 to compare, no wonder why they added 768p & 1600p.

Evolution.

Edit: I think their benchmark is better for those people refuse to upgrade.

Unless you game on a 4K or an ultrawide monitor, going SLI is not worth it. Oh, and the new SLI bridge is useless.
