OFFWORLD TRADING COMPANY – MAP EDITOR IS NOW AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE

Stardock and Mohawk Games released today the new Map Toolkit DLC for Offworld Trading Company. The downloadable content allows players to build their own maps to share with friends and rivals using the new map editor and adds dozens of new maps based on real locations, many of which enhance the campaign.

 

THE TECHNOMANCER HAS BEEN DELAYED TO JUNE 28TH

The Technomancer was originally planned for a June 21st release, however it appears that Focus Home Interactive has slightly delayed the game. Even though the publisher did not issue any press release for the delay, its Steam store page (as well as its official website) has been updated and has the game listed for a June 28th release.

 

CIVILIZATION 6 TRAILER EXPLAINS CHANGES TO CITIES

A new Civilization 6 trailer explains how cities in the game are changing rather significantly from those in previous versions. As we learned when it was announced, Civ 6 cities will actually “build out” from their home tile into specialized districts that support specific functions and tasks. Some districts will be unique to specific civilizations, some can earn bonuses based on location, and certain Wonders will require specific types of districts and locations in order to be constructed.

2K Games presented a playable demo at this year’s E3 and below you can find a video, featuring 11 minutes of gameplay footage from it. Sid Meier’s Civilization VI aims to offer players new ways to interact with their world, expand their empire across the map, advance their culture, and compete against history’s greatest leaders to build a civilization to stand the test of time. The game is planned for an October 21st release.

DEAD BY DAYLIGHT IS PROFITABLE ONE WEEK AFTER RELEASE, HAS SOLD 270K UNITS

Starbreeze and Behaviour Digital announced today that the highly anticipated asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight has sold more than 270.000 units during its first week since release, subsequently recouping Starbreeze development cost and beyond.

 

FALLOUT 4 – BETA UPDATE 1.5.4 IS NOW AVAILABLE, PACKS PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS

Bethesda has released a new beta patch for Fallout 4. According to the release notes, this new beta patch will update your game’s version to 1.5.4, and comes with general stability and performance improvements, improved stability when reinitializing with certain mods loaded, as well as some new features.

 

STELLARIS' ASIMOV PATCH DETAILED, BEEFS UP THE MID-GAME

Stellaris is a game chock full of sci-fi potential but underfed in the mid-game. The Asimov patch (1.2), due towards the end of June, aims to fix that. Paradox revealed the first chunk of Asimov last week, and in a new dev diary, it gives us the full picture.
