http://www.pcgamer.com/overwatch-earned-269-million-in-may-analyst-says/

Digital research firm Superdata says Blizzard's online FPS Overwatch pulled in an estimated $269 million in digital revenue across all platforms in May. It was number one on PC and number five on consoles, making it the top digital revenue earner for the month overall, despite only being around for eight days of it.

YOU CAN'T GIFT CS:GO DURING THE STEAM SALE

http://www.pcgamer.com/you-cant-gift-csgo-during-the-steam-sale/

The Steam Summer Sale is on! Lots of good deals to be had, including the famous team-based FPS Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, which is currently half-price—that's $7.50/£6. There's a catch, though, and it's kind of a strange one: If you buy it during the Summer Sale, you can't gift it to someone else.

THE MIGHTY NO. 9 END CREDITS ARE ALMOST FOUR HOURS LONG

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-mighty-no-9-end-credits-are-almost-four-hours-long/

The past year has not gone particularly smoothly for Mighty No. 9. There was the “anime fan on prom night” thing, and the entirely underwhelming launch trailer, and a pre-release livestream that was more of a morose apology than an excitement-filled build-up to the debut of a new game. But this, I actually like, because it's so utterly bizarre: The end-game credits take almost four full hours to scroll by.

AMERICAN TRUCK SIMULATOR'S MAP SIZE TO INCREASE

http://www.pcgamer.com/american-truck-simulators-map-size-to-increase/

One of the main things about America, THE main thing maybe, is that it's big. Like, really big. That bigness wasn't really represented all that well by American Truck Simulator, which features a fairly truncated slice of America to drive all over. Acknowledging complaints that its roads are too teeny, developer SCS Software has announced that the sim's world is soon to expand, from a map of 1:35 scale to one of 1:20 scale, basically resulting in 75% longer roads out in the wilderness. The new scale will be equivalent to that of the map in Euro Truck Simulator 2, and as you can see from this visual demonstration, there'll be a pretty substantial increase in the size of the world.

>>Changing the scales instead of adding more content/States. Isn't that weird?

SHOVEL KNIGHT DEV ASKS, 'WHAT GAME SHOULD WE MAKE NEXT?'

http://www.pcgamer.com/shovel-knight-dev-asks-what-game-should-we-make-next/

Deciding what thing you're going to make is often surprisingly difficult, so I can understand why Shovel Knight developer Yacht Club Games has outsourced picking the premise for its second game to its fans. OK, so it hasn't done that exactly, but it has released a poll asking fans what sort of game they'd like to see next from the studio. There are a bunch of ideas on the form, and you can rate each one on a scale from 'not excited' to 'very excited'.

A REWORKED CIVILIZATION 5 HEADING TO NORTH AMERICAN SCHOOLS

http://www.pcgamer.com/a-reworked-civilization-5-heading-to-north-american-schools/

Civilization developer Firaxis has partnered with GlassLab to create a version of Civ 5 that will be used in North American high schools as a teaching aid. CivilizationEDU will be a different version of the game to the one available for purchase, modified in a way that will give students "the opportunity to think critically and create historical events, consider and evaluate the geographical ramifications of their economic and technological decisions, and engage in systems thinking and experiment with the causal/correlative relationships between military, technology, political and socioeconomic development", according to the official description (thanks, Eurogamer).

Anyways - I bought my first and so far only game from Steam Summer Sale.

Saints Row Gat Out of Hell for $3.64

xD....

I got it during the winter sales, and I managed to play and beat it. It's not as good as SR 3 or 4 (not even close), but you'll play it for hours... if you like side-quests.

So far i only bought 5 games from Steam Summer Sale.

Half-Life 1: Source - $0.90 USD
Alien: Isolation Collection - $14.99 USD
Portal 2 - $4.99 USD
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - Director's Cut - $4.99 USD
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood - $9.99 USD

I still haven't bought any game.

*Torchlight II at 80% off is tempting, but when I tried the demo some time ago, I wasn't left all that excited for it.
*Euro Truck Simulator 2, despite being a weird game, interests me. But the good deal comes from the Deluxe Bundle, and that includes games (and DLCs) that I'm not interested in and it's too much money for a game that I find weird.

And I could keep going with other games... I'm just not in the mood of buying games. :-/
