What I've seen of GTA VI, game has distinct art style and lighting, not this completely generic look of this video. Rockstar will certainly crank up all the dials for PC version, but I'm expecting it to retain its character, instead of dissolving into "photorealism".

NVIDIA releases GeForce 582,78 security driver for GTX 700, 900 and 10 series GPUs
https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-releases-geforce-582-78-security-driver-for-gtx-700-900-and-10-series-gpus
NVIDIA has released GeForce Security Update Driver 582.78 for Maxwell, Pascal and Volta graphics cards. These GPUs no longer receive regular Game Ready Driver updates, but NVIDIA continues to provide security fixes. The new WHQL driver is available for Windows 10 64-bit and Windows 11.
The release notes confirm that version 582.78 is specifically intended for Maxwell, Pascal and Volta GeForce GPUs. NVIDIA says the update addresses issues that can result in multiple security impacts. The company ended regular Game Ready support for these architectures in October 2025, with critical security updates scheduled through October 2028.

PS5 Emulator KyTyPS5 Runs God of War Sons of Sparta at 60FPS
https://www.dsogaming.com/videotrailer-news/ps5-emulator-kytyps5-runs-god-of-war-sons-of-sparta-at-60fps/
God of War Sons of Sparta is a new God of War game that was released exclusively on PlayStation 5. However, PC gamers can now play this GoW game on PC via KyTyPS5, which runs it at 60FPS.
God of War Sons of Sparta is a 2D pixel art action platformer that came out on February 12th, 2026. This GoW game serves as a prequel to the entire franchise. It is set during Kratos and Deimos’s youth in the brutal Spartan training camp, the Agoge.
(***several paragraphs describing the game***)
In the following video, we see 34 minutes of gameplay from the game. KyTyPS5 was able to run it at 60FPS on an Intel Core i5 14400F with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060. From what I know, this is a custom fork that is not yet available to the public.
I know this is a “simple” 2D action platformer, meaning that it may not seem as impressive as what we’ve seen so far. Still, this is a brand new 2026 PS5 exclusive game that can run on KyTyPS5 at 60FPS. This is a huge deal in terms of emulating the PS5 console system.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Multiplayer Mod V0.35.0 Released
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/kingdom-come-deliverance-2-multiplayer-mod-v0-35-0-released/
The modding team behind the multiplayer mod for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, KCD:MP, has released a new version of it. So, let’s take a look at all its new features.
For those who did not know, KCD:MP (KCD Multiplayer) is a free, fan-made multiplayer mod for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The mod comes with a launcher that starts your own copy of the game. You then pick a server, and you play in the game’s own Bohemia with other people: riding, fighting, roleplaying, and talking over proximity voice chat.
KCD v0.35.0 adds many new features and fixes. The biggest change is better combat sync. Players can now see guards, blocks, parries, and attacks at the right time. Counter attacks also work better, so fights between players feel much more natural.
The update also adds game-native dialogue. Game modes can now use the same style of talks seen in the main game. Players can read lines and pick from up to eight answers.
Player animations have also been improved. Other players can now see you sit, lie down, climb ladders, vault over objects, open doors, pick herbs, dig, butcher animals, and pet horses.
Two story gates are now open and can be used by servers. These include the Malesov gate and the south gate at Trosky Castle.
The launcher also gets many new features. You can pick the game folder, check your game version, hide chat, and get better crash help. It also finds more Steam installs and gives clearer warnings.
Server owners get new tools, too. These include a server status page, better NPC combat, new admin commands, and more control over story areas.
Finally, the update adds Cyrillic support, better chat, ASI mod support, and many crash and gameplay fixes.
You can go ahead and download the mod from this link (kcd-mp.com).

Grand Theft Auto 4 Fusion Fix Mod Version 5.1.0 Released
https://www.dsogaming.com/mods/grand-theft-auto-4-fusion-fix-mod-version-5-1-0-released/
The modding team behind one of the best mods for Grand Theft Auto 4, Fusion Fix, has released a new version of it. So, let’s see what Update 5.1.0 brings to the table.
For those who did not know, Fusion Fix is a comprehensive open-source mod that aims to fix a wide range of technical issues, bugs, and limitations in the game that were left unaddressed in official updates. Right now, this is one of the best mods for GTA 4.
GTA 4 FusionFix v5.1.0 adds many new options, fixes, and improvements. The update brings a new Console Gamma system. It also adds PS3 Gamma as an option. This can help bring the game’s colors closer to the console versions.
The update adds Quick Save to the in-game phone. You can now save your game almost anywhere. It also fixes issues with shops, taxi rides, preachers, vendors, and game time.
There are new camera and control options, too. You can turn off the slow-motion camera during Stunt Jumps. You can also disable the camera when climbing fences or stealing cars. A new Auto Climb Ladders option makes ladder use easier.
The update also adds new ragdoll options. You can press R while jumping to ragdoll, with an option to use it while climbing. You can also make parked cars turn on their brake lights.
Many fixes improve high frame rate play. These include water effects, water physics, weapon aiming, helicopter rotors, loading screens, and camera effects. The update also fixes several memory and camera issues.
Finally, FusionFix 5.1.0 improves vehicle models, fixes searchlight positions, restores radio audio in Roman’s cab depot, and adds more small fixes and code changes. You can go ahead and download the mod from this link (Github).

The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker Unofficial PC Port Released
https://www.dsogaming.com/news/the-legend-of-zelda-wind-waker-unofficial-pc-port-released/
And the time has finally come. After the unofficial PC ports of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, we have another Zelda game on PC. So, an unofficial PC port of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker has just been released.
The unofficial PC port of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker brings many useful PC features to the classic GameCube game. It runs natively on Windows and uses Direct3D 12 for graphics.
The port supports 16:9 and 16:10 widescreen. You can also keep the original 4:3 view. It supports 60 FPS and 120 FPS with Smooth Motion. There is also an early 60 FPS mode that runs the game itself at 60 FPS on Windows.
What’s also incredibly cool here is that the PC port supports controllers, keyboard, and mouse. The mouse can control the camera, while the keyboard has full game controls. This is super cool for someone like me who prefers playing third-person games with KB&M. On the other hand, gamepad players can use a fast right-stick camera with a controller.
The port also supports resolutions up to 4K and up to 16x texture filtering. It can use HD texture packs in Dolphin format. This will allow you to improve the game’s image quality even more.
It also adds many quality-of-life options from Wind Waker HD. These include the Swift Sail, faster text, faster climbing, and quick doors. Scene changes are also much faster.
The port keeps saves outside the app, so updates do not remove them. It also supports mods and lets players turn features on or off from the settings menu.
All in all, this is currently the best way to experience The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and it’s only possible on PC. So, if you’ve been a fan of it, you can go ahead and download the unofficial PC port from this link (Github). Do note that it does not contain any in-game assets. So, to play it, you’ll have to provide your own ROM file. Right now, the project only supports the US GZLE01 Rev 0 version.

Agony! Two life sims I really want to play launched back to back
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/life-sim/agony-two-life-sims-i-really-want-to-play-launched-back-to-back/
It can be fun when two things that have virtually no overlap in target audience become jokey allies by sharing a release date. Like when Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Doom Eternal launched on the same day. Or Barbenheimer. The inverse is trickier: When two things launch simultaneously whose venn diagram of fans is a circle. Cruel fate, I am the circle! This week two new life sims have launched and I desperately want to be playing both.

TIL what may or may not be the oldest board game in recorded history is also, perhaps inevitably, now a roguelike
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/roguelike/til-what-may-or-may-not-be-the-oldest-board-game-in-recorded-history-is-also-perhaps-inevitably-now-a-roguelike/
Are you aware of Oh!Ware? I'm guessing not. The deckbuilder has been on Steam for about a week as of this writing, with a humble 23 reviews to its name so far. It caught my eye though, because the fundamental mechanic underneath the very 2026 trappings of a roguelike structure and marbles standing in for cards is mancala—a slightly older board game you probably played at some point in your childhood.
And by "slightly older," I mean somewhere between 1,500 and 7,000 years older.
Have you heard of the critically acclaimed MMORPG… oh, Final Fantasy 11, that's new
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/mmo/have-you-heard-of-the-critically-acclaimed-mmorpg-oh-final-fantasy-11-thats-new/
Final Fantasy 14's free trial is massive—so massive, in fact, that it's become a bit of a copy/pasted meme over the years. The sentence "have you heard of the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy 14" is burned into our brains.
And, to be fair, it's a bloody huge one, currently letting you play for free for as long as you want right until the end of Shadowbringers (with some big limitations, mind). Still, it's a few hundred hours without a single monthly sub payment. Well, Final Fantasy 11's gonna be following in those footsteps, per the FF11 site.
Arc Raiders' is taking no prisoners when it comes to cheaters with permanent bans becoming the new normal: 'No warnings. No second chances'
https://www.pcgamer.com/games/third-person-shooter/arc-raiders-is-taking-no-prisoners-when-it-comes-to-cheaters-with-permanent-bans-becoming-the-new-normal-no-warnings-no-second-chances/
Embark is bringing forth a monumental effort ahead of Arc Raiders' anticipated major Frozen Trail update scheduled for next week . The devs have teased a bunch of new features like a temporary PvE mode, loot hotspots that change places, and a chance to build a base Topside, among a huge bevy of new items and arcs. And while I've been suitably hyped for all of this the issue of rampant cheating has still been in the forefront of my mind, Embark has now addressed this too.
And here's the only short article from today:
