HEARTHSTONE ADDS PRE-MADE DECK SUGGESTIONS WITH "DECK RECIPES"
http://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstone-adds-pre-made-deck-suggestions-with-deck-recipes/
When it comes to Hearthstone, we can't all be innovative deck builders. Netdecking the strongest (or most fun) decks around has become a part of the game—a part it seems like Blizzard might be trying to ween players off of, as seen by the latest feature to be added. Deck Recipes will be pre-made, partially completed deck lists for each class, aimed at giving players some direction when starting to build new decks.
3D NES EMULATOR IS WITCHCRAFT IN YOUR BROWSER

Witness what might have been had Nintendo had a few more bytes and hertz to play with in the '80s. Leveraging sickening talent and the dark arts, Trần Vũ Trúc has created an emulator that extrapolates 3D levels from the 2D sprites of NES games. And it runs in your browser, provided that browser is Firefox.

SNAKES AND LADDERS AS A FIRST-PERSON SHOOTER MIGHT BE AN EXCELLENT IDEA
http://www.pcgamer.com/snakes-and-ladders-as-a-first-person-shooter-might-be-an-excellent-idea/
Why do snakes always hang around ladders? Why do ladders only allow upwards climbing? Why are we climbing the ladders, and what's so bad about staying at the bottom? It's possible we'll learn the answers to these pertinent questions in Snakes-N-Ladders: Origins, which is a modern first-person shooter take on the Snakes N Ladders universe. No doubt there will be plenty of gripping Snakes-N-Ladders lore to sink our fangs into.

SCI-FI ROGUELIKE BEACON IS ALL KINDS OF STYLISH
http://www.pcgamer.com/sci-fi-roguelike-beacon-is-all-kinds-of-stylish/
There's a risk with Roguelikes and bullet hells that they become more style and substance. If the shooting, dodging and pacing is off then flare won't save them from playing like knock-off Game Boy games from elderly relatives who didn't know any better. Still, I'd say Beacon has margin for error—this is a sci-fi Roguelike in haute couture.

BILL GATES GRILLED OVER THE FUTURE OF AGE OF EMPIRES
http://www.pcgamer.com/bill-gates-grilled-over-the-future-of-age-of-empires/
As any irascible granny will tell you, the best way to get results from a faceless corporation is to go straight to the top, or, in this case, right past the top to its former CEO and founder. Such was /u/le-click's policy when Gates took to Reddit for his fourth AMA. Amid a sea of questions concerning finance, artificial intelligence and quantum computing, le-click was determined to get answers on one thing: can we get another Age of Empires?
>>Can you imagine that we could get a new Age of Empires thanks to this? I would be both exultant for the new game, but also sad because it will be locked to the Windows Store. Unless we wait for another AMA and ask him to change that policy...
