When it comes to settings and art styles I'll likely tune my settings if it's a simplistic style like TF2, if it;s more like Rage then I'll end up sacrificing some FX settings instead. I'd rather full texture res than low, I managed to put up with that for years on PC and I'd rather not have to suffer that again. That said I can't really push much with GTA V as R* designed the PC port to be played 5 more years into the future thanks to them wanting to future proof the game so it will last maybe another 5 years more which means 10 years total (being sarcastic because I dislike that form of future proofing)

Oh Warhammer

Checked it as well. Looks like my PC doesnt match the recommended but minimum it does.

Cant wait to upgrade my PC :O

Can't wait for next years spec, though I hope it;s going to be a good one depending on what AMD, Nvidia and Intel bring to the field. This current one is likely going to end up as both a spare and a rig that will capture from the new one.

Thanks for that!

But why does it need the Steam ID? With email (btw, the creator of email and the @ sign has recently died ) it should be enough.

I dunno, there's always a part of me that's a bit suspicious about people giving things for free.

Please excuse my bad English.

Not sure either... the website doesn't seem too bad. I noticed the Steam ID late, I initially thought it was just the account name.
I believe these things are free because you subscribe to them, ads, email listings, i.e. your email address.

What can they do with your SteamID? I know you can find out which one is yours here: http://steamidfinder.com/

Site is down now, so I can't check further.

If I were nice, I'd think that they want to know our SteamID to be able to send us ads and promotions of games that better suit our tastes. But I'm not a nice person, so I don't trust them.

Btw, I used that site you listed and I get this result with Ginmir. Does it mean that you're this one?

Learning lots of new stuff from Steam today, haven't really bothered before.

Apparently I didn't have a custom url, that's why you can't find me (and I thought that was my steam account).
So you have an account, a profile name, a custom url and an ID... interesting~

I've finally taken my custom url, no TomaTito or gonmir since those are already gone.
Had to go with ggonmir:

The news!

For some reason, DSOGaming is down, so all the news will come from PC Gamer. Still, there are so many news that I'll split them in two posts.

THE DIVISION'S DAY-ONE DLC IS NOW ON SALE

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-divisions-day-one-dlc-is-now-on-sale/

The Division kicked off late last night, and as you may have heard it was not an especially smooth start to the fun. I had the schadenfreude-drenched pleasure of watching a team of PC gaming's most elite operatives struggle for well over an hour to play it, before ultimately giving up and returning to the tender embrace of Stardew Valley. But launched is launched, as my dear old granddaddy used to say, and that means it's time to turn our eyes to the launch-day DLC.

WARTILE PROMISES TO EMULATE DETAILED MINIATURES-BASED GAMING ON THE PC

http://www.pcgamer.com/wartile-promises-to-emulate-detailed-miniatures-based-gaming-on-the-pc/

Wartile is maybe not the greatest name for a videogame ever, but I do dig the idea. It's a digital rendition of a hex-based tabletop strategy game, with a diorama-style game board, detailed figurines, and special ability cards, all of it recreated in gorgeous, lightly-animated detail, with single and multiplayer support. Even better, there's a free demo on Steam, so you can try it out for yourself.

RIOT GAMES ACQUIRES RADIANT ENTERTAINMENT, RISING THUNDER NO MORE

http://www.pcgamer.com/riot-games-acquires-radiant-entertainment-rising-thunder-alpha-ends/

Radiant Entertainment announced today that it has been acquired by League of Legends studio Riot Games. The studio also teased "a new game that we’re incredibly excited about," but on a less happy note, said that the alpha test for the free-to-play fighting game Rising Thunder is coming to an end.

DAY OF THE TENTACLE REMASTERED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS REVEALED

http://www.pcgamer.com/day-of-the-tentacle-remastered-system-requirements-revealed/

It's been well over a year since the remastered edition of the Lucasarts comedy classic Day of the Tentacle was announced, but aside from a few screens that were rolled out last October, we really haven't heard much about it since. Today, however, GOG (with a little help from co-creator Tim Schafer) announced that the game will be out on March 22.

THE CREATOR OF MOUNTAIN IS MAKING A GAME ABOUT BEING EVERYTHING

http://www.pcgamer.com/the-creator-of-mountain-is-making-a-game-about-being-everything/

Video games often place you in the shoes of really tough people killing lots of baddies, but what if a video game let you be a paperclip? That's probably not a question widely asked, but Mountain creator David O'Reilly has done so, to the extent that he's made a game about it.

>>The game is no longer PS4 exclusive. This is the PS4 announcement trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSd9d05iTHE

DARKEST DUNGEON UPDATE BRINGS NEW CLASS, TWEAKS

http://www.pcgamer.com/darkest-dungeon-update-brings-new-class-tweaks/

The next Darkest Dungeon update is available on Steam, and it brings with it a unique, loot-oriented class and some small but significant changes meant to mitigate late-game grind.

HEARTHSTONE ADDS PRE-MADE DECK SUGGESTIONS WITH "DECK RECIPES"

http://www.pcgamer.com/hearthstone-adds-pre-made-deck-suggestions-with-deck-recipes/

When it comes to Hearthstone, we can't all be innovative deck builders. Netdecking the strongest (or most fun) decks around has become a part of the game—a part it seems like Blizzard might be trying to ween players off of, as seen by the latest feature to be added. Deck Recipes will be pre-made, partially completed deck lists for each class, aimed at giving players some direction when starting to build new decks.

3D NES EMULATOR IS WITCHCRAFT IN YOUR BROWSER

http://www.pcgamer.com/3d-nes-emulator-is-witchcraft-in-your-browser-2/

Witness what might have been had Nintendo had a few more bytes and hertz to play with in the '80s. Leveraging sickening talent and the dark arts, Trần Vũ Trúc has created an emulator that extrapolates 3D levels from the 2D sprites of NES games. And it runs in your browser, provided that browser is Firefox.

SNAKES AND LADDERS AS A FIRST-PERSON SHOOTER MIGHT BE AN EXCELLENT IDEA

http://www.pcgamer.com/snakes-and-ladders-as-a-first-person-shooter-might-be-an-excellent-idea/

Why do snakes always hang around ladders? Why do ladders only allow upwards climbing? Why are we climbing the ladders, and what's so bad about staying at the bottom? It's possible we'll learn the answers to these pertinent questions in Snakes-N-Ladders: Origins, which is a modern first-person shooter take on the Snakes N Ladders universe. No doubt there will be plenty of gripping Snakes-N-Ladders lore to sink our fangs into.

SCI-FI ROGUELIKE BEACON IS ALL KINDS OF STYLISH

http://www.pcgamer.com/sci-fi-roguelike-beacon-is-all-kinds-of-stylish/

There's a risk with Roguelikes and bullet hells that they become more style and substance. If the shooting, dodging and pacing is off then flare won't save them from playing like knock-off Game Boy games from elderly relatives who didn't know any better. Still, I'd say Beacon has margin for error—this is a sci-fi Roguelike in haute couture.

BILL GATES GRILLED OVER THE FUTURE OF AGE OF EMPIRES

http://www.pcgamer.com/bill-gates-grilled-over-the-future-of-age-of-empires/

As any irascible granny will tell you, the best way to get results from a faceless corporation is to go straight to the top, or, in this case, right past the top to its former CEO and founder. Such was /u/le-click's policy when Gates took to Reddit for his fourth AMA. Amid a sea of questions concerning finance, artificial intelligence and quantum computing, le-click was determined to get answers on one thing: can we get another Age of Empires?

>>Can you imagine that we could get a new Age of Empires thanks to this? I would be both exultant for the new game, but also sad because it will be locked to the Windows Store. Unless we wait for another AMA and ask him to change that policy...

DOOM BETA DATES REVEALED, NEW MULTIPLAYER FOOTAGE UNLEASHED

http://www.pcgamer.com/doom-beta-dates-revealed-new-multiplayer-footage-unleashed/

Gore and beastly new demons—everything we have any right to expect from new Doom footage. But wait! It's accompanied by the dates for the closed beta, so clear your calendar: March 31, 10pm ET - April 3, 11:59pm ET is going to get messy.
