The news!
For some reason, DSOGaming is down, so all the news will come from PC Gamer. Still, there are so many news that I'll split them in two posts.

THE DIVISION'S DAY-ONE DLC IS NOW ON SALE
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-divisions-day-one-dlc-is-now-on-sale/
The Division kicked off late last night, and as you may have heard it was not an especially smooth start to the fun. I had the schadenfreude-drenched pleasure of watching a team of PC gaming's most elite operatives struggle for well over an hour to play it, before ultimately giving up and returning to the tender embrace of Stardew Valley. But launched is launched, as my dear old granddaddy used to say, and that means it's time to turn our eyes to the launch-day DLC.
WARTILE PROMISES TO EMULATE DETAILED MINIATURES-BASED GAMING ON THE PC
http://www.pcgamer.com/wartile-promises-to-emulate-detailed-miniatures-based-gaming-on-the-pc/
Wartile is maybe not the greatest name for a videogame ever, but I do dig the idea. It's a digital rendition of a hex-based tabletop strategy game, with a diorama-style game board, detailed figurines, and special ability cards, all of it recreated in gorgeous, lightly-animated detail, with single and multiplayer support. Even better, there's a free demo on Steam, so you can try it out for yourself.
RIOT GAMES ACQUIRES RADIANT ENTERTAINMENT, RISING THUNDER NO MORE
http://www.pcgamer.com/riot-games-acquires-radiant-entertainment-rising-thunder-alpha-ends/
Radiant Entertainment announced today that it has been acquired by League of Legends studio Riot Games. The studio also teased "a new game that we’re incredibly excited about," but on a less happy note, said that the alpha test for the free-to-play fighting game Rising Thunder is coming to an end.
DAY OF THE TENTACLE REMASTERED SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS REVEALED
http://www.pcgamer.com/day-of-the-tentacle-remastered-system-requirements-revealed/
It's been well over a year since the remastered edition of the Lucasarts comedy classic Day of the Tentacle was announced, but aside from a few screens that were rolled out last October, we really haven't heard much about it since. Today, however, GOG (with a little help from co-creator Tim Schafer) announced that the game will be out on March 22.
THE CREATOR OF MOUNTAIN IS MAKING A GAME ABOUT BEING EVERYTHING
http://www.pcgamer.com/the-creator-of-mountain-is-making-a-game-about-being-everything/
Video games often place you in the shoes of really tough people killing lots of baddies, but what if a video game let you be a paperclip? That's probably not a question widely asked, but Mountain creator David O'Reilly has done so, to the extent that he's made a game about it.

DARKEST DUNGEON UPDATE BRINGS NEW CLASS, TWEAKS
http://www.pcgamer.com/darkest-dungeon-update-brings-new-class-tweaks/
The next Darkest Dungeon update is available on Steam, and it brings with it a unique, loot-oriented class and some small but significant changes meant to mitigate late-game grind.
