Gran Turismo 7 was leaked previously, so that's probably a strong contender. Other than that, the more recent a release is, the more likely it is to get a PC version as well. On the other hand, some of the PS3 games that were never ported to future PlayStation consoles are also unlikely to get a PC version.

Then again, with the recent PSN account requirement, I don't personally care very much, since I'll be skipping even the interesting games.

Well, I have a PSN account since 2007, so I don't have a problem with using it for Sony's PC games, too.

Is RDNA3 efficiency even better than RDNA2 in these low power cases?

AMD fell fall short of their 2x efficiency claims, but it was still a bit more efficient, yes.

I'm not sure this also applies to the ULP chips and instead more at higher performance tiers.

Zen3+ also was much better when it came to performance/watt on low-power devices, hence why we didn't get a desktop version of that one. Zen4 seems to be geared much more for higher clock speeds, which isn't ideal in a handheld device.

All in all, I doubt that Z2 will be much slower than Z1 if the memory is the same - except for Raytracing. RDNA3 may not be superb when it comes to RT, but it's still quite a bit better than RDNA2 in that regard. On the other hand, battery life may be much better than on it's predecessors, so it's certainly not all bad.

I don't think we'll see any port for a game that isn't available on PS5. If Sony isn't bothered to port some of those PS3 games to their newer console (and we're talking about a company that has remastered Horizon Zero Dawn from the PS4), there is almost zero chance of them porting those games on PC.

I'm uncertain about the PSVR2 games, but I think that, if they were to port those, they would have already said something. But we'll see, maybe they're waiting for Valve to reveal their new headset to take advantage of the push in sales it will bring.

Astro Bot should be a no brainer given how well received it has been, and Gran Turismo would make a lot of sense.

By the way, I don't know if the three older port from your list fit the criteria. Crash N-Sane Trilogy was ported by Activision, who owns the IP, not Sony, and the two games from Quantic Dream were ported by them, because they're not owned by Sony, they just decided to work exclusively for them for a very long time.

You may be right, I don't know much about the mobile parts of neither AMD nor Intel.

We'll see if there is much difference between the new Legion and the old one, but one thing is for sure: if the newer one isn't noticeably faster, then what's the point in it? Who is going to buy it over a Steam Deck?

Single 3D Vcache ccd will likely once again have the scheduling circus. They should use Steams Api to detect when a game is running at the very least instead of xbox game launcher as it's clear that with the more niche games, it puts them on the wrong ccd.

NVIDIA & AMD Rush To Ship Out Next-Gen GPUs To Avoid Trump Tariffs; GeForce RTX 5090 Estimated To Cost $2,500+

https://wccftech.com/nvidia-amd-rushes-ship-out-next-gen-gpus-to-avoid-trump-tariffs/

"While we are unaware of NVIDIA and AMD's next-gen GPU MSRPs, a reasonable estimate would likely be $1,799 for the GeForce RTX 5090. So, factoring in a 40% tariff, NVIDIA's flagship GPU can cost around $2,500."

Would be nuts if true.

I too do a PSN account, but having it be mandatory is essentially DRM, which lowers the value of games tremendously for me. If it was optional, I'd probably use it happily, but with it being required, it means it's going to take a lot for me to get Sony's games on PC. One part is principle, but another is that I don't trust Sony with the power to effectively disable access to games I've paid for if they ever decide to pull the plug. And yes, I play the long-term game here.

260-something watts for a card that performs close to a 4080 isn't too bad. I wonder how much room for overclock it has if some partner models can raise that up to 330W.

Also, I'm more inclined to believe this performance ballpark, ∼5% of the 4080 in the games he knows of, than the synthetic results we got a few days ago. Sorry not sorry, but real game benchmarks > synthetic benchmarks.

It's a shame AMD hasn't gone all in and has decided to limit the big X3D chips to only one CCD as the previous ones. But well, with Intel not being able to provide competition, AMD doesn't feel the need to do so.

We'll see how those tariffs go, but it loks bad.

And I don't want to jinx it but, with Bitcoing reaching new highs, I fear a new crypto boom may be coming.

I used to have a PSN account until the 2013 incident, but even now, PSN is no longer supported on my island, despite it being within UK territory, and as such I can literally no longer see any new Sony games on the Steam platform ever since they enforced PSN onto their new/older games.

The fact they are now going to start enforcing this for 2nd/3rd party funded games makes this even worse for me, because I won't be able to see or even play some of those games that I may own to begin with.

Sony is basically abusing Steam's ecosystem to enforce it's own ruleset, while still being able to make money from it's audience pool. Really Sony should just be selling on their own storefront and stick to that alone and seeing how little support they get over time thanks to their lack of support for the multiple regions they've been ignoring for years.

At this point I don't want any more third party or even first party login requirements. Not only have a lost trust in all of them, most of them forget my login info or become too obstructive to me being able to play those games. 2K doing the right thing and removing their launcher requirement was a good move, and I honestly want to see the others doing that as well.

And launchers aren't even the worst part... But am I glad to see them gone wherever they're being removed. I was also glad to hear that the Total War launcher will be gone as soon as they figure out the details.

I recently got Cyberpunk 2077 (finally!), and what's bizarre is that it has a launcher - and we're talking about the company associated with GOG, the DRM-free marketplace, here! And yes, I did get the game on GOG, so here I have a launcher on GOG, basically from the company behind GOG.
