Not sure why you are complaining.  I'd prefer to play it day 1 than 6 months to a year later.  Also this game is relying on cloud features for certain things which is why it is being touted to have X1 being the best version.  Everytime TitanFall gets mentioned you have a barage of comments like this yet nothing has been confirmed yet.  If it does then yay for sony gamers but until then these comments are annoying to say the least.  Either way it isnt going to stop a ton of people buying this game when it gets released.  Timed exclusives always sell more than the counter part.  And yes many people including me are buying the X1 for this very game so apparently it worked.

So you would prefer X number of exclusives Day 1, but you can't play # number of other "exclusives", or would you rather have # number of exclusives day 1, and you have to wait 6 months for # number of other "exclusives."

Makes sense, in your case you get half the exclusives, in my case I get the bulk of them, but I have to wait for half.

---

Also Titanfall is available on PC and 360. A PS4 is $100 less then a 360, and wouldya know what? A 360 is often only $130 on sale, less if you buy a used one. Still makes a lot more sense to buy a PS4, you know get shorthanded when exclusives stop flowing in 3-4 years.

You're right a ton of people will buy this game, for the One, PC, 360, and likely the PS4 too.

You are implying that ALL of Xbox One exclusives are timed. No they are not. So far it is none.
There is a single game we are speculating about, but that's it.

You will never be able to play Forza, Halo, Quantum Break, Killer Instinct, Ryse or Fable on the PS4, will you?

As I said, enjoy it in Spring 2015 (or never) on PS4 and let Xbox One user enjoy it in 9 months from now.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

They did really well! Makes me more excited about the Xbox One! It's the only next gen that looks interesting to me.

I think my first choice will be Quantum Break - did that win anything?

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Top 50 'most fun' game list coming soon!

Tell me a funny joke!

Best game I have played this year is State of Decay, a new MS IP exclusive to the 360. People who think MS abandoned the console just need to open their eyes.

That's not even a retail game, lol. Even when you talk about Arcade games, the best Arcade game ever made IMO was Shadow Complex, but I hear Journey for PS3 is really good.

I don't know, I guess I am old fashioned but I play video games based on the games, not silly qualifiers. I have put more time into State of Decay from the XBLA than any retail game I have bought this year, though Last of Us will eclipse it eventually just due to MP. The bottom line is it's a game MS secured, bought the IP, and published it for their console.

I cannot believe you guys are still arguing with Srage... He is completly biased anyway, it is obvious MS is ahead right in term of games and exclusives but he will find anything he coukd to arg with you about that (mainly with speculations...)

He gives sony fans a bad name.

True, I remember a few years ago he was actually the biggest xbox fan :P He said the same stuff about PS3 as he did about xbox now XD

OT: Microsoft showed the most games fair & square

I'm exaggerating to simplify and example. Yes there are a handful of One games which are exclusive to the One, and published by Microsoft (Take Killer Instinct and Fable off that list, KI is an arcade game, which I hear will be a free tech download, and there is no confirmed Fable for One). However Sony will get more, it did for the PS1-3, and there is no reason to think that it won't happen for the PS4.

So buying a One specifically for Titanfall is still a dumb move. Like I said, I speak from experience, the 8th gen will last 7 or 8 years, maybe longer, and while you might enjoy Titanfall now, in 4 years those 6 months you saved on a single game will pale in comparision to the pile of PS4 exclusive you're forever going to miss out on.

My main point is, you shouldn't punish the PS4, or argue against it because it doesn't have as many exclusives as the One does right now. Sony is busy supporting the PS3 still, and if you count the number of upcoming PS3/PS4 exclusives, and compare it to 360/One games, Sony is clearly producing a lot more games. I like to know that when I eventually do buy a PS4, I won't be deprived of new games when the PS4 gets old, or then the PS5 releases, I know Sony will continue to make products for me, even after the PS4 is replaced.

So I might have to wait 6 months to enjoy Titanfall (unless I buy it on 360), but I will enjoy it. One owners will miss out on a lot more games then PS4 owners (especially those with PC's who can play Fable, Halo, and every single Remedy game ever released, without owning an X-Box).

Come back to this tread and can't believe people are still arguing about this. MS didn't make a perfect E3 because its DRM drama and high entry price of Xbox One. This is the fact and even as Xbox fan, we need to accept this. But in the meanwhile, MS made a fantastic E3 conference although no sound issue happened in Crimson Dragon and BF4 show. Many exclusive titles were announced in the conference and this is what gamers expected for a long time after their failed TV TV TV Xbox One revealing.

So, no surprise for Xbox titles winning nomination and winning awards. Now just let us look forward to Gamescom and TGS. Hope MS can reveal more titles in the near future.

Besides, MS winning big in E3 2013 doesn't mean Sony lost this E3. I don't understand why few PS fans here are so deniable and try to put down MS's achievements. This is only about E3 MS performances, not about who won this E3.

Yeah! Ryse won for being the best QTE game ever  for casual gamers! Hooray!!! It has great graphics  so who cares if the gameplay sucks?

The "handful of One games" outnumber the PS4 games easily.
And yeah, downloadable games do not count? Really? This is 2013.

LoL @ Killer Instinct does not count.
LoL @ Fable does not count, because it is not announced. And the very next sentence is: " However Sony will get more [it is just not announced yet]"
LoL @ all your baseless assumptions about Titanfall, 1st party content from MS, 1st party content from Sony, PC release dates.

You never run out of excuses. I like that. Keep it up, it is funny to read.
But at the end of the day, you don't have any idea.

Yup.

What did Microsoft release of 360 in 2013? A crappy Gears of War game, which is really bad compared to the original trilogy, and not even developed by Epic. Plus a remake of a game which is playable on the 360. So 1 game

2012 - 1 Halo game, 1 very short, Forza game, developed by a different studio. So 2 games.

2011 - Gears 3, A remake of another game playable on the 360, Forza 4 - So 2 games

2010 - Fable, Crackdown, Halo - 3 games

2009 - 2x Halo, Forza, a JRPG, and Race Pro - 5 games

2008 - 8 games

2007 - 6 games

Yea, 2011 - 2013, 3 years, saw as many games as 2009 and earlier and prior saw annually. If not less, kinda neglected.

---

Compare that to PS3 which is seeing what 4, 5 exclusive games this year? A couple releasing around the same time the PS4 is launching?

It's worth remembering that Sony will support their next gen system until it stops selling and becomes obsolete. It's stupid punishing Sony for supporting their PS3, something PS3 owners are grateful for. PS4, like PS3,2, and 1, will get the most exclusives per generation. Just wait, don't punish Sony for not being done with the PS3 yet.

I didn't say anything about Sony. I don't know why are saying this to me.
