Given it passed 5 million in October last year, VGC apparatnly has it selling 900k since. This will probably be 1m+ by time October hits. PS3 has never/barely crossed 1m in the UK in any year so I imagine with the downturn it's nowhere near 1m for this past year.
Also, I knew it hadn't happened yet :P same with PS3 overtaking 360, when it happens Sony will be shouting it from the rooftops.

Im not sure about PS3 and 360, though I think it is best to wait until shipment confirmation. Its very close either way.
The PS3 has been overtracked by quite a bit in the UK since then, as it was at ~5.3 Million according to VGChartz at the start of October. If it has been overtracked since, we could be looking at >500k overtracked in the UK for PS3 which would be quite incredible.

The numbers here are off. thats all you need to know these days.
ONLY the US and Japan numbers are reliable as they get adjusted after data is known from other trackers.
Europe is overtracked this year, Others are undertracked lifetime and there will be huge anomalies within those numbers too.
IMO
If the 360 is over by 500k in the UK then those 500k are elsewhere. Unless you think there are 3m on shelves that is.

Werent we in line with Nintendo's charts for the main European countries?
Those emerging markets must be hell to track.
