Exactly, there is no point, not even with the difference between DS3 and 360. So what if 360 had concave triggers and the DS3 had convex L2/R2, if you wanted to play Halo you were going to do it on 360, wanted to play GT you did it on PS3. Althought, I never got why developers wanted to use L2 and R2 for racing games though, they never did until this generation, whatever happened to 'Press X to go'? It's much easier on both 360 controller and DS3 to go from A/X to X/Square then fiddle about with the triggers.

The stick placement of the xbox controllers does not add anything to its usability or playability. While people have gotten used to it and grown to like it in no way makes it a better placement. 

My only problem with the ps3 controller is that its a little to small. Looking at the ds4 i can tell it will be a lot better in that regard. Not sure if its beter than x1 controller, but i definitely prefer ds3 over the 360 and i play inverted with bumpers swapped on fps games

You say that the majority agrees wit you, what facts do you have to back that?  Most playstation gamers will prefer the Dualshock, most Xbox Gamers prefer there controller, the people that have both, like me, are going to be pretty evenly split.  I personally prefer the Dualshock because of the analog stick placement.  Human bodies are mostly symetric and so are your hands when you place them on a controller, your thumbs naturally want to be even with each other when using either controller.

Compared to the DS4 the XOne controller looks like a cheap toy (visually only, maybe it'll have better ergonomy I don't know).

What exactly? Colored buttons? Both. Black? Both. Analog sticks? Both. Really, enlighten us with your detailed argumentation why one is a "cheap" toy and the other isn't.

You live in America and don't know one single person who likes the Xbox 360 controller? I believe you because I don't know anyone who likes the Playstation controller. Just as believable as your comment.
